King David's Meditations on the Holy Father's a.k.a. the "Law of Faith" Codified by Moses
Introduction
Herein we shall reflect upon how Moses wrote all about Jesus as he claimed (Jn. 5:46-47), as the "Image of God's Righteousness" which Paul tells us that Moses defined as the GOAL of the Law (Rom. 10:1-4) and whom King David depicts as the promised "Seed" of God over God's BETTER COVENANT Kingdom than his own which he recognized Moses had prophesied (Deut. 30:3-7). Through his meditations on the Holy Father's Moses wrote about, David recognized that the "Promised Seed" of God which would come through his loins would be "Rejected" (like Josef) and Glorified to God's Right hand as the FIRSTBORN SEED of God Resurrected from Death (and which would be the official BREAKING of our Covenant which would be followed by our WORLD BONDAGE in diaspora as Moses also prophesied). David recognized this "Mediator" to replace Moses over our RENEWED and better covenant would be his own "Lord" (Psalm 110). This vision of David came after he was "born from above" through God's Spirit after he "believed Moses" and saw the "Law of Faith" hidden WITHIN the Law of Moses, as ALL TRUE BIBLE TEACHERS should teach, and if they DON'T then herein Moses CONDEMNS THEM as FRAUDS in REBELLION to the TRUTH as KING (Jn. 3:10, 5:46-47, Mat. 22:42-46 & Rom. 10:1-4)!
David recognized that Moses prophesied that his own kingdom was temporary and a RENEWED and BETTER COVENANT KINGDOM was going to be established and he was BORN FROM ABOVE into the "New Covenant Kingdom" by his FAITH believing what Moses wrote! King David wrote Psalm Ps. 2 & 110 through the SPIRIT so you can ALSO believe Moses and Serve God and His King in the NEW COVENANT KINGDOM through YOUR FAITH, until it is ESTABLISHED ON EARTH as Moses tells us shall happen!
One could say this page represents a Philosophical "Stairway to Heaven" where each of the "Fathers" I will outline, represent another "Step upward" toward seeing the Vision of the "Son of Man" who would become God's Messsianic KING (Gen. 28:12, Jn. 1:51) which God gave us through their FAITH so we may KNOW Him in Spirit and Truth and ESTABLISH His Kingdom on earth where ALL MEN shall SERVE HIM and His King as God designed!
So herein we shall go over the Meditations of our Holy Father's as King David did, each one a "step upward" in our understanding, through which God has communicated the "Image of His Righteousness" as King of His Kingdom over Heaven and Earth into which one may be "Born from Above" to Serve the "Image of God's Righteousness" as our Messianic King as the "Goal" of the "Law of Faith" CONCEALED WITHIN Moses' Law (Rom. 10:1-4).
***Begin Note*** Please note that in Romans 10:4 (ALWAYS misquoted by IGNORANT PARROTS following BLIND GUIDES in Mystery Babylon) that the Greek word "telos" used there means: "END GOAL", and NOT to "end" or "do away with" the Law of Moses who has EMBEDDED the "Law of Faith" in the New Covenant Kingdom, and the "Image of God's Righteousness" whom all men will serve as the Messianic King over the Kingdom, WITHIN the "Law of Moses" which is the school teacher that LEADS US to SEE IT through Eyes of FAITH as King David did. That's what I will be outlining here and if you have EVER read the Five Books of Moses known as the "Torah" or "Law" (Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, and Deuteronomy), this FACT should become clear to you before you finish reading this page. For those of you who are VERY FAMILIAR with the writings of Moses and have REFLECTED on the Father's of our Faith already, you can jump to this link to find a much shorter version of this page from the New Testament perspective, which has additional information which is not presented in this page. You could say it's more of a summary of this page which I wrote subsequent to that page, because I received so much feedback from people saying that page was too difficult to follow the connections. So I had to go into more detail to "connect the dots" for others to also ASCEND the Ladder of EXAMPLES of the "Sons of Men" leading to THE PROMISED SON who would be Glorified at God's Right Hand as the Messiah King (Gen. 28:12, Jn. 1:51, Ps. 110, Rom. 10:1-4). Hopefully this page will be easier to follow than that page, even if lengthier. But PLEASE find the time to try to read and understand BOTH page as these pages SYNTHESIZE the TWO WITNESSES of the Tenakh (Old Testament) and New Testament, TOGETHER as ONE so that the TWO STICKS or Houses of "Judah" and "Israel" will be made ONE HOUSE by FAITH in GOD and HIS MESSIAH as indicated in Ez. 37:16-17. ***End Note***
The "KNOWLEDGE" by which we are to be ZEALOUS for God which Paul alludes to in that passage, is the recognition of this "Image of God's Righteousness" as His "Messiah" as the "END GOAL" of Moses Law, the Law of Faith by which we RECOGNIZE through the Eye of Understanding, the "Image of God's Righteousness" as the Messiah of God which is found ONLY through meditation on the Law. So we shall go through the meditations of our Holy Fathers culminating with King David, to see the PROGRESSIVE REVELATION of God's "New Covenant Kingdom" and the Image of His Righteousness as King over the Kingdom, which Moses wrote about and King David was Born from above to enter into through his Faith in God's Word given to Moses (and which Jesus reprimanded the Pharisees for not knowing and teaching as they posed as Teacher's of Israel, even as I reprimand BOTH Jews AND Christians today!). So specifically we shall reflect on ALL of the RIGHTFUL FIRSTBORN HEIRS of God's "SEED" Promise which ALSO REPRESENT "Steps" in the "Ladder" to Heaven which helps us to UNDERSTAND and "SEE" the "Face" of the PERFECT SON of Man as the FIRSTFRUIT of God's Resurrecttion Promise as His King greater than Moses and the Temporal PATTERN of the Kingdom over which he is King.
We shall begin with Abel and proceed directly to Noah, then Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph/Ephraim. That will then plateau to be interrupted by Moses as King over temporary Covenant Kingdom that would be established through the Promised "Seed" Joshua (who inherits it from Moses) and culminating in King David all as a TEMPORAL PATTERN, who in the "Spirit" of rebirth from above into the "New Covenant Kingdom" given to God's "PROMISED SEED" which he saw by FAITH through the school master of Moses Law, serves him as his "Lord" (Mat. 22:42-46).
This will be a rather BARE BONES MEDITATIONAL OUTLINE which one can (and should) spend the rest of their lives meditating on in order to fill in with more meaty details to see the FULLNESS of God's "Image of God's Righteousness" as God's Messianic King and serve Him through their FAITH as did the Father's of our Faith who give us this progressive revelation of God's Kingdom Building Plan which Moses wrote about, and for which they each WORKED, through their OBEDIENCE of FAITH. Using the Meditations of our Holy Father's as King David did, as STEPS leading us UPWARD to Gaze on the Image of the PERFECT FATHER of our Faith who would be recognized through the progressive revelation of him through EACH of these FATHERS who had the "Right of the Firstborn Son of God" promised from the foundation of the world (Gen. 3:15) who would crush the Head of the Serpent as the Messianic Savior of Mankind to thereafter RULE EARTH, according to THEIR FAITH which we shall reflect upon now. It is my prayer that you ALSO will be able to also "gaze upon His Holiness" as He designed; through the "Eye of your Mind" in UNDERSTANDING and KNOWLEDGE. Please ask Him to open your "mind's eye" to see Him in "Spirit and Truth" in a quick prayer right now, before you begin.
Let's begin
Abel
We aren't going to go into the origin from which the concept of Vicarious Atonement came, which is represented by the SKINS with which God covered the nakedness of Abel's parents (which I cover in detail in this page) in which he reflected his FAITH in God's JUSTICE PLAN (regarding the "SEED" promise of God; Gen. 3:15) through his DEEDS; his "offering". We shall suffice to CONNECT the "Seed" of God's Promise of JUDGEMENT being associated with Abel who was SACRIFICED by his SELF DECEIVED BROTHER. We shall additionally posit that Abel's Blood, in which is his LIFE, still spoke of Life after death in TESTIMONY of what God was promising in regard to the eventual Judgement which come on ALL REBELLION which would be DEFERRED during time of "grace" (to allow the deceived to come to the knowledge of the truth through repentence), after Cain slew him (Gen. 4:10).
We have to recognize that later prophets recognized these things after reflecting on WHY God would show favor to Abel as EITHER the "Seed" of God's Promise (Gen. 3:15) OR as the PROGENITOR of the "Seed" of God's Promise who would come from him, and set His Countenance on him in FAVOR of Him (as the rightful Heir of the Seed Promise), KNOWING in advance that Cain would rise up in Jealousy and REBELLION TO GOD and Slay that "Seed" (potentially ending God's "Seed" Promise). They asked themselves: "Why"? They struggled with answering the question WHY God would do that, and God gives us more clues with more detail giving us more insight, later in the "Next Step" up the pictures of the "Sons of Men" whom God chose to lead us up this "Ladder of Heaven", the Law of Faith by which we recognize the "Image of God's Righteousness" which would be hidden within Moses Law (Gen. 28:12, Jn. 1:51, Ps. 110, Rom. 10:1-4).
Through his meditations on the Law, King David ultimately understood it was to Tie the SEED PROMISE of God to the DEATH of a RIGHTEOUS FATHER of our Faith who would be REJECTED like Josef was, whom God would GLORIFY as the "firstfruit" of Resurrection from death to His OWN Right Hand of Power over Heaven and earth, to JUDGE THE REBELLION against God in a BETTER KINGDOM COVENANT than the one which he was King over, and for which Jesus rebuked the Pharisees for knowing nothing about while posing as Teachers of Israel (Jn. 3:10, 5:46-47, & Mt. 26:24); they didn't believe Moses like King David (and Daniel) did, as we shall see.
So let's suffice our meditation here with Seth who was raised up by Adam's faith in God's selection of Abel, who was raised up as Seed to HIS INHERITANCE, so Abel's inheritance of the "Seed" of God would NOT be lost or forgotten (this is the ORIGIN of "raising seed" to the deceased which Moses later codifies (Deut. 25:5-6), and which would ultimately be fulfilled by Boaz (Ruth 4:5) so that the INHERITANCE of the "FIRSTBORN SON" of God's SEED PROMISE would be recognized as the "Root of Jesse" and "David" at the appointed time, according to God's Kingdom Plan!). So Abel, and Seth raised as "Seed" to replace him as the RIGHTFUL HEIR, placed their faith in God's RIGHTEOUSNESS and His "Seed Promise" which would come through them, that he had a JUST PLAN by which Abel's Sacrifice resulting FROM HIS FAITH in God, would be somehow Vindicated by God's plan for justice regarding those who are DECEIVED to serve the Serpent as their "god" in opposition to the TRUTH of God, who is Spirit. They believed through FAITH that through THEIR PROGENY would eventually come the "SEED" of this Promise regarding God's Judgement of TRUTH which would END the Serpents ability to serve him as god over a world kingdom of LIES.
We see from the time of Seth, the whole world is calling on the Name of YHWH (Gen. 4:26)...but it was in pretense of serving Him. In reality the whole world was in REBELLION to His Holy Spirit and the later Father's of our faith who proceeded from Seth, until Judgement day came on their rebellion to the TRUTH of God as THEIR King...they were serving LIES as their god and king. So the fathers of our Faith (outlined in Gen. 5) believed judgement would eventually come on the Serpent and those who serve him in REBELLION to God and to God's RIGHTFUL RULERS (themselves). They preached the COMING JUDGEMENT of God's Seed Promise and the RIGHTFUL HEIR that would come to effect that judgement according to God's Promise, until Noah.
Noah
Noah knew that he was the inheritor of this "Seed Promise" from God which had been passed down to him by his fathers from Seth who had the LEGITIMATE RIGHT of God's "Firstborn Sons", and he preached the coming Judgment on the world's wicked kingdom which was in REBELLION TO GOD while simultaneously usurping Authority as God's Rightful "Sons" (Benei Elohim), as his fathers had preached. God then decides to bring a judgment which would prefigure THE Judgement of His Promised Seed which would yet come in the future to rule the Final World Kingdom of Earth. So Noah recognized that through Abel's blood which still speaks of life and judgement (Heb. 11:4, 12:24-25), that God has power over life and death and He is trying to LEAD His Son's to EMULATE His Image THROUGH THEIR OBEDIENCE OF FAITH. This is where the concept of "vicarious sacrifice" of the righteous at the hands of the wicked, which was symbolized by "innocent, spotless, and perfect clean animals", becomes established and later codified by Moses to speak of the RIGHTEOUS BLOOD of the Saints during a period of GRACE where judgement is DEFERRED to allow those in error to REPENT, until Judgement on the wicked would AT LAST COME. This is pictured through events like the flood through which Noah was delivered, the judgment of fire on Sodom from which Lot was delivered, Egypt through which God's "FIRSTBORN SON" and Ruler was delivered as Egypt and it's rulers were decimated, asll as a TEMPLATE for the GREAT WORLD WIDE "EXODUS" of God's "FIRSTBORN SON" delivered through a "judgement" which will come on ALL who are rebellion to God's Kingdom Saints, who will then RECEIVE THEIR INHERITANCE RIGHTS as "Kings and Priests" in over God's Kingdom established ON EARTH, as all the OFFENSIVE deceptions of the Serpent and his kingdoms come to their END and are "Removed".
So God calls Noah, who is formed in God's Image, "Perfect and Righteous in his Generations" and effectively elects him as His "Right Hand" to be the Holy Father over a Renewed World which he INHERITS after everything offensive was removed in judgement which came on the rebelliously wicked. Noah recognized he was only a progenitor of the Promised SEED ("Messiah") as a TYPE; a SHADOW of what we believe will take place in a future judgement because Noah recognized the Spirit of the Serpent was being served through his son Ham (and Canaan, Ham's "firstborn"), upon whom he placed the CURSE of judgment on those who would serve the serpent in rebellion to God in the renewed earth which Noah inherited and passed to Shem as the "Son of Promise" against whom those under the Curse would REBEL while under "deferred judgement" (Grace) until Judgement when Grace would end. The BLESSING and RIGHT of God's Seed Promise of the "Firstborn Son" to Rule was given to Shem by Father Noah. So Noah and his son Shem believed another judgement (but not by flood) would come in the future when the ULTIMATE "Seed of Promise" and PERFECT FATHER, the RIGHTEOUS KING of a another future "New World Kingdom", would come through them. We see this reflected in the name Melchizedek King of Salem (Salam/Shalom) which means: "My Righteous King of Peace".

I'm going to avoid the contentious arguments which rage regarding the identity of the "Righteous King of Shalom" who OBVIOUSLY had the Firstborn Right of God's "Seed" promise which Noah gave to Shem, by simply focusing on the FACT that "Melchizedek" CLEARLY had the BIRTHRIGHT and the RIGHT to pass this BIRTHRIGHT on to whom he believed God wanted to INHERIT IT from him. Melchizedek recognized that God clearly chose Abram (whom God would rename "Abraham" meaning "Father of Many Nations") who himself was Shem's progeny and whom God had called to COME OUT from the bondage of RELIGIOUS DECEPTIONS and IDOLATRY in his birthplace of Ur to dwell in Canaan which would become the world's trade center or "Capitol", where God had already placed Melek Zedek (the Righteous King) as the Rightful Ruler over God's Kingdom of Peace on earth. This is the Land which God had already promised to Abram when he came out from Ur in obedience.
Melchizedek recognized that God had called Abram out from the religious world capital of Idolatry in Ur (ancient Babylon) in obedience to serve Him in Canaan which He promised to give him as his inheritance and that of his progeny, and he obeyed God's call. Melchizedek also recognized that God had called Abram to wage the first "holy war", one which I often refer to as the first "world war", in the Bible. Abram decides to take action against several world Kings who had descended upon Sodom and Gomorrah and had taken all the inhabitants captive into a Human Trafficking network of spiritual warfare in rebellion to God's Authority, the Righteous King of Salem, including his Nephew Lot, as part of the SPOILS of their EVIL world kingdom network. Melchizedek recognized that God had kindled the righteous indignation in Abram whom God used to DELIVER and SET FREE the captives taken by those kings who were serving the Spirit of the Serpent in wholesale rebellion and treachery to God and His Rightful "Sons". As a result, the Righteous King of Shalom brought forth bread and wine and anointed Abram with "God's Blessing" (Melchizedek; Gen. 14:18) which entailed bringing forth the Messianic "Seed" of God's Promise, of which Abraham was certainly aware as Shem's progeny. Directly afterwards God CONFIRMS the Blessing of the Righteous King of Peace (Melchizedek) on him as the "Father" of the "Seed Promise", and He also renames him "Abraham" (Father of Many Nations).

Nevertheless Abraham was without progeny, he had no children. How could he be the Father of the Promised Seed from which many nations and kings would come? So God promises him that he would have a "Miracle Child" though whom the Promise God had given him as "Father of Many Nations" would be FULFILLED (Gen. 17:16). To make a long story short, Abraham believed God and Isaac was born as the "Miracle Child" of his Faith who would INHERIT both the "Seed Promise" AND the "Land Promise" of God.

It's here that God wants to show us a picture of the both the "Perfect Father" of our Faith, and the "Perfect Son" to whom our faith in God's SEED promise points us. Isaac is born at the "time of life" (Gen. 18:10 & 14) which was in the Spring when the Ewes are giving birth to their Lambs and the first harvest of Barley comes ripe. The very DAY on which he was born was later Codified by Moses as "Passover". So Abraham and Sarah have a "Miracle Child" of God's Promise who CLEARLY has the Firstborn Rights of God's Messianic "Seed" Promise. Abraham is ASSURED that God is ABSOLUTELY going to keep his promise to him, that "Kings" will come from him and that he would be the "Father of Many Nations" and essentially FILL THE WORLD with HIS CHILDREN (who would be delivered from the Rebellious serving the Serpent to inherit as promised)!
This promise is just short of saying that Abraham would be recognized as the Father over the whole world (after the Judgement of the "Promised Seed" of God comes on the head of the Serpent's Kingdom; those who rebel against God's Magnanimous Plan of Salvation and Deliverance, which Abraham represents as the CHOSEN "Son of God" whose "seed" will INHERIT the World)! So when God then tests Abraham's FAITH by commanding him to take the Miracle Child of the Promise THROUGH WHOM GOD'S MAGNANIMOUS BLESSING shall be manifest, to Mt. Moriah (Jerusalem) and offer Him up in Sacrifice [so that the "Children of God" could MEDITATE ON in order to see the Image of God's Righteousness as the Goal of the Law of Faith and be born from above in KNOWLEDGE of Him who would be RESURRECTED from DEATH to RULE AS KING, David had recognized through this lesson and Josef's miraculous "resurrection" as EXAMPLES to teach us (Ps. 110, Rom. 10:1-4, Jn. 3:10 & 5:46-47)], Abraham OBEYS without hesitancy because he clearly believes his miracle working God will raise him from the dead to KEEP HIS MAGNANIMOUS PROMISE! Abraham, himself a "Son of God" by his FAITH, is recognized as the "Father" of our Faith in "RESURRECTION from Death" as PART of God's Plan regarding the Firstborn "Seed Promise" of the MIRACLE CHILD of our Faith; and Moses codified that in the "Firstfuit" waived before God on the day after the Passover Sabbath (1 Cor. 15:3-4 & vs 20)...the 3rd day from the Sacrifice of the Lamb, Codified by Moses in the Law to speak about him. Isaac is a picture of the PERFECT SON who OBEYS our PERFECT FATHER in Heaven as a Passover Lamb, which we can see God Himself promising to provide from the foundation of the world as His "Atoning Messiah" which shall come and OBEDIENTLY lay his life down to fulfill the PROMISE of God according to the Plan for which He is giving us these PROGRESSIVE REVELATIONS to IDENTIFY HIM as the "Righteousness of God", the very IMAGE of God's SPIRIT who would be ENFLESHED in a Man [like Josef to be REJECTED as a PATTERN, as we shall see David recognized (Gen. 41:38)]!
Isaac passes this FAITH and the RIGHT of the Firstborn Son of God's Seed Promise to his son Jacob.
Jacob
(renamed "Israel" which means: "God's Ruler")
Jacob receives this Prophetic Promise of God (which now entails both the Seed AND the Land which will become the Capitol of God's Kingdom to be established on earth through His Sons by their FAITH) and there's SO MUCH MEDITATIONAL FODDER we could go over in his regard, that it would become overwhelming in this simple outline tracing our Faith in the "Messiah", the "Seed" of God's Kingdom Promise to Rule earth after Judgement on the Wicked. So as I said at the beginning this will be a VERY BARE BONES OUTLINE, especially from now on.
Jacob receives this "Inheritance Promise" of God through God's "Miracle Child" (who is pictured as "raised from the dead" which results from Abraham's FAITH in "Resurrection" for God to fulfill his promise) Isaac. Cutting to the chase we see he has 11 children (Josef his youngest, but was the "Firstborn Son" of his BELOVED WIFE Rachel) when he returns from Assyria to Canaan, the land of God's Promise to his father's, his own INHERITANCE within which he is to sojourn until it's time to inherit. He is about to meet his brother Esau who swore to kill him and so he goes out to struggle with God regarding his predicament. Among many of the questions that he may have been struggling with was: "Are you going to sacrifice me at the hands of my evil brother Esau and then resurrect me in order to somehow keep the "Seed Promise" you made to my Father's, which they gave to me as their heir of your promise?" Making a long story short, Jacob wrestles with God who gives him a new name, Israel, which mean's "God's Ruler".
Israel then legally purchases a piece of property outside the gates of Shechem (Samaria) to settle his family and allow his wife Rachel to bear him another child (Benjamin). But he is forced by his rebellious children, who violently broke his Covenant of Peace with the King of Shechem through their treacherous and cruel slaughter of all the men in the city, to flee the safety and comfort of his purchased property in fear of retribution on his clan for his sons wicked actions from surrounding communities. He had to take his pregnant BELOVED WIFE Rachel, in the last days of her 3rd trimester, on the road in haste where she dies giving birth to Benjamin. Israel names the place where he "plants" his beloved wife in the Land of God's Promise "Ephratah" meaning: "She will be Fruitul". Shortly thereafter we see Father Israel is clearly grooming Josef, the Firstborn Son of his beloved wife, to be the "Son of Promise" having the "Firstborn Right" to inherit His Name (God's Ruler) as the Promised "Seed". God gives Josef a couple of dreams which he shared with his brothers and Father Israel (which God knew and PLANNED before He even did it), and his brothers HATED HIM like Cain hated Abel because God was shining His Favor upon him! So they plotted to get rid of the promised seed thinking they could thwart God's plan that they should bow before him as their ruler.
Israel sent Josef out at the "time of life" (the same time as Isaac's birth and "Sacrifice" codified later by Moses as "Passover") with provisions for his brothers who were supposed to be shepherding Father's flocks near Shechem, in order to get word back from his sons through Josef regarding the increase of his flocks; how many newborn lambs they had that Spring. Suspecting Father may send him to "check up on them", they thought they would frustrate the "dreamer" and concocted an excuse (to later tell father if needed) to move their operation to Dothan so that the "dreamer" wouldn't find them, and would have to return to Father frustrated and unable to report anything to him. But God had known from the foundation of the world how He was going to use these EVENTS at THIS VERY TIME (to be codified as "Passover" later) by which He would reveal to us the very "Cornerstone" of His Kingdom Plan regarding His "SEED" Promise, which He had been unveiling through PROGRESSIVE REVELATION through these "Fathers of our Faith" from the foundation of the world. He revealed to Josef the location of his brothers KNOWING they would want to kill him there near Dothan (where they thought no one would know of their deeds). He knew that he would then send Ishmaelite HUMAN TRAFFICKERS by so they would choose to MAKE MONEY selling him into the bondage of death (slaves of human traffickers were never heard from again) where he becomes a slave in Egypt, and they would return to father claiming they had found his "Robe" covered in blood as the only evidence left by a beast "like a Lion" on the prowl who "obvously" must have found Josef wandering around (looking for his brothers who were supposed to be near Shechem but weren't) and ate him like a little lamb, leaving nothing but his bloody cloak behind.
Now I go into MANY MORE DETAILS regarding this particular event and tying it to the Passover which Moses Codified to speak all about Jesus in other pages throughout the rest of this website, which I shall not cover here. As I said we're just going to hit some of the high points to "connect the dots" regarding this "promised seed" of God which he's giving us to understand as the "Image of His Righteousness" (particularly through Abel, Isaac, and Joseph) as the "Perfect Son's" of the SEED PROMISE ponting FORWARD to "THE PERFECT SEED" of God's Promise who, as the "CORNERSTONE" of His Kingdom Building Plan, would be REJECTED and SACRIFICED as a "Passover Lamb" which would be MEMORIALIZED by Moses to IDENTIFY HIM who would come in the future as the PROMISED HEIR at the APPOINTED TIME, according to Gods Heavenly Kingdom "New Covenant" Plan for which Moses only gave us a temporal PATTERN by which to understand what would be coming as the GOAL of His Law and the "Righteousness which comes by faith" (Rom. 10:1-4).
So the brothers thought they would be finished with the "dreamer" once and for all and they believed they had an allabi or "cover story" which they thought was "unfalsifiable" as long as they all kept their SECRECY of the LIE of their BLOOD OATH under which they HID THEMSELVES, for which they sacrificed a Kid (of the Goats) in which to dip Josef's Coat, and over which they divided the proceeds of his sale together (and the Prophets Isaiah and Zechariah recognized would be repeated again, as indicated in Is. 28:15-18 and Zech. 11:13). They did exactly as God knew from before the foundation of the world that they would do, and they thought they were so smart. One might say that this is the BEGINNING of the Promise of God given to Abraham in regard to his Promised Seed, that they would be taken INTO BONDAGE out from which God would bring JUDGEMENT on their enslavers (the human traffickers) whom they had UNWITTINGLY ALSO SOLD THEMSELVES AS SLAVES INTO BONDAGE, as God had promised Abraham. They will do so by RECOGNIZING the "Passover Lamb" which God has been showing us from the foundation of the world through the Law of Moses rightly interpreted through eyes of FAITH, who would be "SLAIN by the wicked" (who would make a pact with death and hell which they thought would never be discovered; Is. 28:15-18) who would then be RAISED as the "Firstfruit" from the DEAD and Glorified to God's Right Hand as His "Image Bearer" and RIGHTEOUS KING OF PEACE, before whom ALL MEN SHALL BOW! As we shall see in retrospect, both Moses and David speak ALL ABOUT HIM (as do the later prophets).
Josef
Josef struggled with the Promise of God to the Father's of our Faith which he was convinced he had received from God through his dreams, which now seemed to be panning out to be more of a nightmare than what they first appeared. No doubt the TREACHEROUS BETRAYAL of his own brothers took him by surprise at first, until he started remembering the promise his father told him regarding the promise to Abraham and how his "seed" would be taken into bondage out from which God would bring them in JUDGEMENT on their enslavers. So Josef was comforted by the Spirit which INDWELLED HIM and the promises of God, as God blessed him as a slave in Egypt. We all know the account regarding Josef's PIETY to God. Despite having NO LAW forbidding him from doing so, and the COST for his REFUSAL to commit adultery with the (religious) HARLOT of Egypt who had the power to put him to death, he still refused her. She provided false testimony and demanded the death penalty for this little scum of a slave (as she painted him). But Potipher knew the character of his wife and knew the far superior character of Josef, so he spared Josef's life (and shamed his wife, who deserved no less) and put him into the prison of Egypt over which Potipher himself, as Captain of the justice system, was responsible. It was a place which had to be as close to a literal hell on earth as one could get. We all know the account, he remained faithful to God even in that hell in which he came to be recognized as a "light" from God, a blessing to those around him until he was finally GLORIFIED to the Right Hand of ALL POWER on earth because he was a VISIONARY. God gave Pharaoh a dream regarding the future of his kingdom which he knew was FOREBODING and Josef gave him the interpretation that he KNEW was FROM GOD and declared that the Spirit of God was IN HIM and he exalted him to his right hand as his own "Image Bearer" to run his Kingdom (Gen. 41:38). One could say that the "Sun God" appointed the "Moon" to be his "Image Bearer"...yet Joseph tells us God had appointed him to be "Father" over this supposed "Sun God", Pharaoh (Gen. 45:8). Moses would later Codify God's LUNAR Kingdom Calendar to GRAPHICALLY DEPICT how the TRUE "Light of the World" shines BRIGHTER than the FRAUD light of the world and those who worship him as the Sun God incarnate [which as I prove here, did take Israel into a GREATER world bondage serving him (in Jesus' name) which Daniel depicts in the Statue of Nebuchadnezzar and the 4th Beast (Dragon) which would CHANGE God's Times and Laws to serve the Serpent (in Jesus' Name) in a kingdom of SPIRITUAL DECEPTIONS which John the Revelator calls "Mystery Babylon"].
The WITNESS of the Moon is the SIGN of that PERFECT IMAGE of God's SEED PROMISE, His "Son" who would be sacrificed just PRIOR to the RISE of the Full Moon beginning "Passover Sabbath" (at the end of the 14th day of the Lunar Month) and be resurrected from death to be "Glorified" to God's Right Hand on the day after Passover Sabbath ended (the 16th day) as the "Firstfruit" to be WAIVED before God which Moses codified into Kingdom Law. It is this LAW which Paul references in 1 Cor. 15:3-4 and vs. 20). All of these "times and laws" of God's Kingdom, which are a shadow of things that are EVEN YET STILL COMING when His Kingdom is established, which DEFINE the BODY of the Messiah as the "Cornerstone Truth" they were codified by Moses to IDENTIFY (Col. 2:17), were changed by the Beast Anti-christ 2000 years ago to take Israel and the whole world into bondage to "Mystery Babylon" and it's "times and laws" (and called a "christian calendar") so that men worship the BEAST as God and his anti-christ lords over his fraud sabbath kingdom of deception, instead of God and His True "Lord of the Sabbath" which God had Moses CODIFY to IDENTIFY HIM as the CORNERSTONE TRUTH of God's Kingdom (as I demonstrate in prophetic and historical detail in this link)!
Anyhow, let's move on. Josef recognizes that being called by God as His "Firstborn Son" of promise wasn't as glamorous as he at first thought (similarly to David who's anointed by Samuel to become the next King after Saul, who then suffers ridicule from his brothers and treachery from King Saul who tries desperately to hunt him down and kill him). No doubt there were many times before Josef was glorified that he, like Moses later, would really have preferred that God had chosen someone else for the JOB. But then he (like David later) was humbled by the great calling God saw fit for him to do, and recognizing that God saw in him the QUALITIES that would GLORIFY HIM as a picture of the "Promised Seed"; the "Perfect Father" and SAVIOR of the World before whom he recognized ALL MEN WOULD BOW as God's anointed King at His Right Hand in His Kingdom, he humbly obeyed God as His Son, a promised seed GLORIFYING the TRUE KING. Likewise Moses recognized the "Passover Exodus" was pointing to a GREATER FULFILMENT in the future (our "Great Exodus" from the Serpent Dragon's kingdom of "Mystery Babylon"; Rev. 18:1-4) as he indicates in Deut. 30:1-7 (and later prophets pick up on).
So Josef's brothers and his father all come into bondage of Egypt as promised to Abraham by God, and they bowed before Josef as the Right Hand Power of God and father to Pharaoh, "God on Earth" at whose Right Hand God in Heaven had exalted him. His father Israel officially gives to him and his son Ephraim the INHERITANCE of his Fathers, as I outline in great detail in this link, and other pages in this website. His Father calls him the "Fruitful Vine" (a foreshadow of the "True Vine"; Jn. 15:1), and his son Ephraim whom he adopts as his own "Right Hand" son meaning "fruitful one" (a Messianic "branch" from the "Fruitful Vine", Josef) was given the INHERITANCE RIGHTS of "Israel". After Father Israel goes to "sleep" with the Father's of our faith awaiting Resurrection, Josef reminds his brothers of God's Promise to Father Abraham that He will SURELY BRING US OUT from our Bondage! He commands them to be sure to carry his bones out (of the Grave of Egypt) with them when he does.
Moses
The first thing to note is that Moses is the effectual "High Priest-King" over Israel (Deut. 33:5) in a TEMPORAL COVENANT which itself pointed to our BREAKING IT to be taken into diaspora of world bondage GREATER than our bondage in Egypt, from which God would bring us back in a GREATER EXODUS and into a RENEWED AND BETTER COVENANT. Only in this way could Israel fulfill their ELECTION and CALL by God as His People, which is IRREVOKABLE (Rom. 11:29). So the Mosaic Covenant was made an UNCONDITIONAL COVENANT when God cut an ADDITIONAL COVENANT with us in Moab (Deut. 28:69 or 29:1) which WOULD BE BROKEN as part of the UNILATERAL COVENANT God makes with Israel! After we would be taken into world bondage and the Nations would jeer at us and persecute us, He would then bring us back in a Greater "Exodus" than that from Egypt and into the bond of an EVEN BETTER, MORE IMPROVED COVENANT when He Circumcises our Hearts to serve Him just prior to His Judgement on the nations who took us captive and REBEL AGAINST GOD'S COVENANT WITH US as Moses promised (Deut. 29:24-30:7)! So Moses Covenant contains the PROMISE of a BETTER COVENANT after we would break his, which was ONLY A PATTERN for the HEAVENLY KINGDOM COVENANT, then God brings us back into the UNILATERAL HEAVENLY KINGDOM COVENANT based on "better blood" [where He has provided the SACRIFICE for our righteousness (as the Spirit speaking through Father Abraham promised his son Isaac; Gen. 22:8) and thus CIRCUMCISES OUR HEARTS to serve Him] and King David recognized that. That will become important for you to remember later when we discuss David's meditations on this Law!
So this is a VERY COMPLICATED COVENANT and like building ANYTHING, has recognized "STAGES" for it's development. Moses' Covenant Pattern itself points us to the "Stage" where we will BREAK the covenant in order to be ABLE to enter the RENEWED and BETTER COVENANT KINGDOM than King David's, which he recognized after meditating on Moses Law day and night was its GOAL. That by itself is hard enough to understand [but the arrogantly Pharaonic "Dunning Kruger" idiot Christians being deceived and deceiving others to serve the NARCISSISTIC SERPENT DRAGON of Mystery Babylon (like they did in Nazi Germany in Jesus' name) which took Israel Captive, and upon whom God's Judgement will be meted out, think they have it all figured out as they continue to use the House of Judah as their political whipping boy and scapegoat in their self righteous hypocritical attempt to hide their crimes against God and His Saints (the "House of Josef/Epraim/Israel" held CAPPTIVE in their midst and KEPT IGNORANT of their Identity and INHERITANCE RIGHTS) as their LEADERS DECEIVE AND BETRAY THEM to be in OPPOSITION to the TRUE GOSPEL PLAN of God's Kingdom come, through the FALSE GOSPELS they have forced on them, for 2000 years] so keeping one's eye on the INHERITOR of the "Seed Promise" becomes far more difficult at this point, and that's why the Christians have SO MANY different Gospels and a different Jesus for each of them. The ONE THING all their Satanically inspired leaders have in COMMON is their OPPOSITION TO THE TRUTH. They OPPOSE the TRUTH and will ACCUSE the INHERITOR of being their "Anti-christ" because they DO NOT BELIEVE MOSES and have made up their OWN ANTI-CHRIST "Image of Righteousness" completely DIVORCED from the one Moses defined whom THEY ARE DECEIVED TO OPPOSE!
But I don't fault the little lost sheep of Israel [or the Great Mixed Multitude whose hearts God will Circumcise who will come out with us from our bondage (to the Kingdom of "Mystery Babylon") to be GRAFFED IN to our Renewed and Better Covenant, to INHERIT the Kingdom of God's Promise with us) who being deceived by their crafty (Anti-christ Emperor Worshiping "Christian") leaders serving the Serpent God of this world through deceptions in Jesus name. I empathize with them and pray they choose to be free of Satan's snare so they COME OUT FROM THAT SLANDEROUS HARLOTS MIDST as a SPIRTUAL VIRGIN to God (Rev. 14:4)! Everyone who LOVES TRUTH and RIGHTEOUSNESS will RECOGNIZE the Voice of Truth and COME OUT, but all who LOVE THE LIE will not! God designed it that way. Everyone gets to choose for themselves what's most important to do with one's life and resources. And it can be a far more difficult thing for people to recognize who has the TRUE INHERITANCE RIGHTS of God, than keeping one's "eye on the ball in play" or recognizing "who HAS the ball" in team sports where passing the ball in play may be an element (of distraction/deception) of the Game. As I cover in this link and differently as well in this link, God had Father Israel DIVIDE some of the BLESSINGS associated with this INHERITANCE RIGHT of God's Firstborn Son of the "Seed" Promise throughout the tribes of Israel using Levi so that men would LOSE SIGHT of the "ball in play"; that being the INHERITANCE RIGHT OF THE FIRSTBORN SON OF GOD's SEED.
Through Levi God wanted to show his MERCY so that it could be separated from CRUELTY. We can see this is tempering God's "Justice" at Judgement with his "Mercy" which would be shown through the Humble Moses, as alluded to in the "blessing" which Father Israel gave Levi and Simeon (Gen. 49:7). Levi was most responsible for the SELF WILLED demand for some form of "justice" to be meted out in the matter of Dinah at Shechem (which resulted in the untimely death of Father Israel's beloved wife Rachel, likely due to the SEVERE STRESS they were all suddenly placed under), which together with the angry ferocity of the hot headed Simeon, was an ASSEMBLY of CRUELTY which God wanted to DIVIDE. He would select Levi to be SET APART from the other brothers, particularly the hot headed ferocity of Simeon, as a mediator over a system of MERCIFUL ATONEMENT for his Holy People. And He ultimately did that when he selected Moses (as known to God before he was born, in fact before anything was ever created).
As we know, God delivered Moses from the cruelty of a "New Pharaoh over Egypt" who "knew not Josef", and he mercifully placed him in that same Pharaoh's house being raised by Pharaoh's own Daughter, the Princess of Egypt, as a potential Pharaoh to the Throne of Egypt. But Moses disdained those worldly hopes and treasures in favor of faith in God and in God's promise to Joseph, which he no doubt had access to. In fact he had access to all the knowledge of Egypt and became a Scholar over ALL their so called "wisdom" (Acts 7:22-25) and yet he HUMBLY chose to be associated with the slaves who were his brethren believing God would use him to DELIVER THEM in Judgement on their enslavers, as God promised Abraham and which Josef had clearly believed also...it seems no wonder a Pharaoh upon whom God's Judgement would come would want to scoff at Josef's God!
But Moses refused to betray God or His People and had FAITH in God's Promises. One could say that through the Faith of the PROMISED SEED of Josef, who SAVED THE WORLD and passed His Faith of our Fathers as the TRUE SAVIOR who has a PLAN (as template for "God's Right Hand Son"), one could say the Righteous Moses had been "born from above" through this Philosophy of God above who is our RIGHTEOUS CREATOR and he felt compelled by his KNOWLEDGE of God who called his heart out of Egypt. He believed God would use him as Israel's Deliverer and VINDICATE this SUPERIOR GOD and the FAITH of Israel suffering at the hands of wicked men acting as if THEY THEMSELVES WERE GOD and there was NO OTHER.
He did not understand God's method or timing yet and being rejected by Israel as their "Judge and Ruler", who were still more contented with their bondage in Egypt than with God's long faded Promise of Deliverance, so Moses had to flee Egypt. By the time God was going to call him into service as His Agent of Change by which He would deliver them 40 years later, Moses had become even wiser and more humble and (probably meditating on the suffering of Josef before God exalted him and the relative comfort he was currently enjoying) really did not want the Job anymore, he had rather hoped God would call someone else to do it. But even as for ALL ISRAEL, God's ELECTION and CALL are IRREVOCABLE (Rom. 11:29). God would show him the TIMING of this DELIVERANCE when He gave him the Passover Calendar to CODIFY as the Cornerstone of "Time" for His Kingdom as the "Sign" by which to IDENTIFY His "Image of Righteousness" as the Lord of the Sabbath to which all the other Sabbath's of God's Kingdom would be ANCHORED, when Moses unites Israel and brings them OUT of Bondage through Judgements on their oppressors AS GOD PROMISED ABRAHAM. But as I mentioned earlier (and cover elsewhere), this "Priesthood" of the "Righteous King of Salem" associated with God's Ruler over His Kingdom as the FIRSTBORN HEIR of the "Seed" Promise had been SEPARATED OUT [only temporarily, until the Messiah, the ONE to whom the INHERITANCE RIGHT of the Promise belongs, together with ALL ITS BLESSINGS, shall stand as a "Root From Jesse" to INHERIT at the appointed time and deliver the Kingdom to His Father (Is. 10:11-12, Rev. 2:26-28 & 20:7, Jn. 14:11-13, 1 Cor. 15:28)].
So the "King-Priesthood" of the Melchizedek SEED PROMISE given to Abraham and passed on to the "rightful heirs" was given to "Levi" to be "divided in Israel" [and it came specifically to Moses who himself played the role of "Melchizedek" in the PATTERN of the "Heavenly Kingdom" God had called him to as "Elohim" (God) to Pharaoh" (Ex. 7:1) and King of Israel (Deut. 33:5), and Aaron was made his earthly High Priest...again this was a PATTERN of what would be Coming which David recognized)]. So the Priesthood, the Scepter, and the "FIRSTBORN SEED OF PROMISE" seemed to get divided and LOST to most people's view. In fact it's at this point that the IMPORTANCE of the "SEED PROMISE" of God, the "Right of Firstborn" who has the NAME and INHERITANCE RIGHTS of God's "Son" which was given to Josef/Ephraim, at this point seems to become rather meaningless and unimportant.
The seeming IMPOTENCE of the "Right of Firstborn" is no longer attractive to the Narcissistic Serpents, as God designed so that wicked men would "lose sight of the ball". But the Right of the Firstborn to whom ALL THESE BLESSINGS of the High Priest-King of God's SEED PROMISE shall be UNITED to come ON HIS HEAD at the "Appointed Time" of His POWER when his own "Son" UNSEALS the BOOK and reveals HIS IDENTITY (like Josef who revealed his identity). That's what the "Root of Jesse" (Is. 11:10-12) is all about. He would come to show that God, through His Father "Melchizedek", has given him the INHERITANCE RIGHTS of the Promised Son of God as God designed. We can see this "One" in many places like Is. 11:10-12 mentioned above but also Ez. 20:34-37, Ez. 37:17, Dan. 12:1-2, Rev. 18:1-4, & Rev. 20:1-4 among many others. He would be given the scepter on earth from the Morningstar of God in Heaven whose "Day of Power" has come according to Psalm 2, Rev. 2:26-28, 20:7 and as David himself tells us in his insightful prophetic vision of Ps. 110:3-7. King David saw the "Morningstar" of God's SEED PROMISE who would be REJECTED and Glorified to the Right Hand of Power on High (as a Melchizedek/Moses) until the "Day of His Power" when he would send out his inherited Scepter from Zion above, to His HEIRS on earth to bring judgment on the REBELLION and witchcraft of the Sorcerers of "Set" in Egypt (Num. 24:17) who later built "Mystery Babylon" represented by the Statue of Nebuchadnezzar in Dan. 2:31-45, to take the world Kingdom from them and give it to God's Saints!
But I'm getting ahead of myself a bit. Let me direct your attention to the EVIDENCE for the CLAIM that the "Root of Jesse" as the HEIR of the SEED PROMISE of God is a reference to the INHERITANCE RIGHTS given to Josef/Ephraim by Father Israel which was RATIFIED BY GOD! In that link you will also see the EVIDENCE that the promise of the Scepter, which was separated from the inheritor (Joseph/Ephraim) and given to Judah whose donkey of prophecy is TIED to THAT FRUITFUL BOUGH to whom it belongs, will come into Josef/Ephraim's Hand when it's time to UNITE the Two Houses as the INHERITING BODY of God (Ez. 37:19). That inheritor's name is "My God is King" (Elimelech in Hebrew) the son of Joshua (Yahshua in Hebrew, Anglicized as "Jesus") who INHERITED Moses "Blessing" to finish leading us OUT from our bondage by taking us INTO the Land of Promise (which again was only a temporary shadow pointing to the future when God, through Him, would lead us into to the Promise of "rest from our enemies" as God's Ruler over His Kingdom on earth according to His Plan; Heb. 4:8), to whom Boaz RAISED SEED so that HIS INHERITANCE would NOT be LOST or FORGOTTEN but INHERITED at the APPOINTED TIME. So as I demonstrate there, David KNEW his "Ephrathite" lineage but kept it hidden as God directed him to do, so that everyone would be AS SHOCKED as Josef's brother's when it is UNSEALED from the BOOK as promised! But again, I'm getting ahead of myself so let's back up.
Okay so now we have the IDENTITIES of 3 specific blessings of ONE SEED PROMISE which will come on ONE PERSON, the "Seed" of God's Promise who would be RULER, which had been DIVIDED OUT while Israel was in bondage of Egypt and came on Moses as the Earthly PATTERN of the DIVINE KINGDOM COVENANT hidden within Moses Covenant. That Promised SEED would later UNSEAL the TEXT before ALL, only to then be REJECTED (like Josef, fulfilling the PLAN) to ESTABLISH HIS THRONE IN HEAVEN AS KING. Men have COMPLETELY lost sight to the fact that these 3 OFFICES ("King"-"Priest"-"Son" of God's "Seed" promise) belong to Josef/Ephraim NOT JUDAH! So let's do a quick recap before we get into David's reflections and meditations on the Law; the Writings of Moses which IDENTIFIES God's Messiah who would be the "Morningstar" from Josef/Ephraim as the "Root of Jesse", King David's own progenitor (to whom Boaz "Raised Seed" so that his NAME and his INHERITANCE would NOT be lost) whom he came to recognize as the "Image of God's Righteousness" and PERFECT IMAGE of the "Father of our Faith" (the "Spirit of God" Himself Enfleshed as his Patriarch Joseph had been, except at God's Right Hand not Pharaoh's) through his FAITH based in UNDERSTANDING and BELIEVING MOSES, and whom he called his "Lord" (Psalm 110).
Brief Review
In Gen. 5 we trace this Inheritance Right of God's Promised "Seed" through the patriarchs to Noah whom God declares to be "Righteous and Perfect" in his generation (Gen. 6:9). He becomes the progenitor of the ultimate "seed" of God's promise as an "inheritor" of a "Renewed World Kingdom" promise who shows us something of the IMAGE of God's Righteousness to be RECOGNIZED as King over the New World Kingdom. At this point one might say that all of those in rebellion to God and His Kingdom Plan (though they usurped His Name and authority as they ruled violently in rebellion to Him and His "IMAGE BEARER") came under judgment as God's Grace ended those generations of men. So Noah is descended from Abel/Seth and like them had the FAVOR and COUNTENANCE of God on him showing he has the "Right of Firstborn" as the INHERITOR of God's "Seed Promise", and he becomes the effective "Image of Gods Righteousness" as the "Father" over a "New World" where all rebellion and offense to God had been purged out (as we are likewise promised in Mat. 13:41).
This "Inheritance Right" of this "Promised SEED" of God's Firstborn Son to rule earth goes from Noah to Shem, Melchizedek, and from him to Abram, whom God called out from RELIGIOUS BONDAGE in Ur. Abram (renamed Abraham) is understood to be the Father of our faith in the SEED of Promise which God had promised to RESURRECT from death to DELIVER US from the BONDAGE of the Spiritual Deceptions of the serpent spirit, the "god of this world" of DECEPTIONS (olam hasheker) from which God called him out. Having himself meditated on this Righteous Seed Promise of God, he yearns to raise up seed to fulfill this promise which will become the blessing of the Nations, and God fulfills his desire with a MIRACLE CHILD at the "Time of Life" when the Ewes are birthing their lambs and the firstfruit of the Barley ripens for harvest, later codified by Moses as Passover. Many years after the birth of this MIRACLE Child, God tells him to take the PROMISED FIRSTBORN SON of God's Seed Promise to Mt. Moriah (Jerusalem) and slay him there as a SACRIFICE to God at the very time of his birth, later codified by Moses as Passover. No doubt Abraham (and later, David as we shall see) had meditated on the account of Abel and did not understand why God did that but he knew God does miracles; He had given him the MIRACLE Child in the first place. Abraham is the father of our Faith in RESURRECTION from the dead!
David's Generalized Meditations
David no doubt meditated many times for hours on end regarding these head scratching COUNTER INTUITIVE events with Abel, Isaac, and Josef and their connection to the "Passover Exodus" by which God freed us from bondage to enter an ONLY TEMPORARY Covenant over which He made Moses His "High Priest-King" whom David himself was serving as his "Heavenly Mediator" in that Covenant PATTERN. Eventually he recognized that his progenitor Josef, the INHERITOR of the BIRTHRIGHT who was rejected at this VERY SAME TIME of the year and sold into bondage of Death in Egypt after it became CLEAR that he WOULD INHERIT the Birthright from Father Israel, was a key figure in this "Pattern" regarding the "Promised Seed" God was promising to send which would become the King over God's Renewed and Better Covenant Kingdom, which Moses promised would be coming because his was only a PATTERN through which to RECOGNIZE IT.
Then he started associating the ORIGIN of God's Merciful Grace (the withholding of judgement) with the lessons God wanted us to recognize in the sacrifice of Abel in the beginning, as an IMAGE of the RIGHTEOUS and PERFECT "Father of our Faith" God was promising to provide from the foundation of the world who would be the INHERITOR like Noah who would proclaim God's Judgement (despite no one believing). David recognized that the RIGHTEOUS SON, like Abel, Isaac, and Josef prefigured in the PATTERN for the COMING JUDGEMENT, would be SLAIN as a "Passover Sacrifice" and Resurrected from DEATH to be GLORIFIED to the Right hand of Power as the "IMAGE BEARER" of God's Righteousness before whom the whole world would bow, as they did before Josef who received the responsibility to Govern Egypt as Pharaoh's Right Hand and practical "Image Bearer". He recognized, as did Moses who codified it to speak all about him, that the Passover Sacrifice and its "Sabbath" which God revealed as the "SIGN" by which we would know that it is He, the invisible God of TRUTH who would "SANCTIFY US" through the SACRIFICE of this HOLY SEED, as He told us after He brought us out from bondage in Egypt (Ex. 31:13, Jn. 17:17). That "Passover Lamb" was a SHADOW of the PROMISED SEED which God was promising from the foundation of the world who would be REJECTED and GLORIFIED to Power as His Right Hand and "Image Bearer" over His New Covenant Kingdom (as I demonstrate in more detail here).
David recognized this SEED PROMISE which Isaac EMBODIED in this SACRIFICIAL PICTURE of God's Promised Seed to be SACRIFICED as an INNOCENT LAMB, would be RESURRECTED from the dead (as Abraham clearly believed) and exalted to God's own Right Hand as the PROMISED SEED as Josef gives us a picture. The "Right of Firstborn" does NOT go to Judah but to Joseph who was sold into the BONDAGE of SPIRITUAL DEATH in Egypt from which His brothers, ruled by Judah who usurped Josef's authority in his absence as ruler, believed they would never see him again. Yet God exalted him to the RIGHT HAND of power over the WORLD and its RELIGIONS ruled by Egypt, as Savior of the world before whom Judah together with the brothers who bowed to Judah, themselves all bowed to Josef as Lord! A partial fulfilment of the "Morningstar" vision given to Josef which David saw by Faith in the ONE whom Moses wrote all about who would come in the future!
David himself, as a Good Shepherd like Father Israel who recognized his own sons, his patriarchs like HIMSELF, had been "bitten by the serpent" of Rebellion through self deception to betray Father God. He really became aware of the spiritual warfare regarding this "seed" promise who would crush the head of the King of Sorcery and Rebellion even as Pharoah and his firstborn sons (or Haman and his) were crushed in Judgement. And the VISION of the ONE who has the inheritance right of the firstborn son of God and the characteristics of Father Israel's sons between whom he would DIVIDE the promise of the SEED, until the ONE to whom all these blessings belong, would come on HIS HEAD in the end days as THE UNDISPUTED INHERITOR of ALL God's Promises to Rule His People over the BETTER COVENANT which Moses promised because he UNSEALS THE BOOK BEFORE ALL, AS GOD PROMISED!
So David realized that God had prompted Israel to "CONCEAL" this matter of INHERITANCE by DIVIDING the blessings associated with this ONE SEED, among three of the brothers such that Moses would be the TEMPORAL "High Priest-King" (Melchizedek) to God (and Aaron his High Priest), Judah would be given a "scepter" between his feet and would ASSUME that he has the birthright, which Jacob had already given to Josef and his son Ephraim in secret, and King David KNEW that. And he knew his Grandfather Obed whom Boaz raised as Seed so that his half brother Elimelech's inheritance as the son of Joshua (who also inherited the "Melchizedek" blessing from Moses) as the RIGHTFUL INHERITOR of the Seed Promise given to Josef/Ephraim, would NOT be lost or forgotten but INHERITED as the APPOINTED TIME by his "Son" before whom the whole world would Bow as King when they SEE HIS "FACE" reavealed from His Heavenly Throne.
So father Jacob gave each of them prophetic destinies bound up in a spiritual "Blessing", as Father Israel was directed by God to do. The APPEARANCE of Judah having the right of firstborn would dominate until the one from Josef/Ephraim comes to inherit his birthright. Joshua from the Tribe of Josef/Ephraim, is the "Root of Jesse" (for whom Boaz raised Obed as "seed" so that his name and inheritance would not be lost or forgotten) who comes to INHERIT his BIRTHRIGHT according to the PLAN, because it is to him that the KINGSHIP rightly belongs!
David recognized that God intended that when his PROMISED SEED who has the RIGHT OF FIRSTBORN would be SLAIN as a SACRIFICE to atone for the world's SIN of REBELLION against God and His Kingdom, that he would be GLORIFIED in POWER through RESURRECTION from death (as Abraham TRUSTED God would do with his Miracle Child) to INHERIT the RIGHT as God's Firstborn Son, the PERFECT FATHER of our Faith to whom the faith of ALL the Father's of our faith pointed through their OBEDIENCE to the INVISIBLE ONE which was patterned in Josef's rejection and GLORIFICATION! David also recognized that this "SEED PROMISE" was under SPIRITUAL ATTACK from the wicked seed of the SERPENT from the foundation of the world, at the hands of which Israel had suffered since BIRTH as David indicates in Psalm 129, embodied by the RIGHTFUL RULER of Israel as the PROMISED SEED of the Nation (the "suffering servant" and King of Israel from Joseph/Ephraim which Isaiah 53 later picks up on).
David recognized himself as the seed of Joshua the Ephrathite ("Yahshua" which means: YHWH saves) the son of "Nun" (which means to "waste away" like the "waning" of the moon) upon whose head the crown of the "Fruitful Vine" separated (nazir) from his brothers, would come in the end of days, and this RIGHT of the "FIRSTBORN SON" (Ps. 2, Ps. 110) would APPEAR to be LOST until the "day of his power" when he UNITES HIS PEOPLE as "savior", even as God used Gideon as His "Right Hand" and "Savior" (Messiah) after Joshua's death (Judges 6:36 & 7:7, Ps. 110:3 & 110:7).
David, Samuel, Saul, and Jonathan ALL KNEW David's "secret" lineage from Joshua/Ephraim to whom Boaz raised seed (as recorded by Samuel in the Book of Ruth) so that His Inheritance RIGHTS as the FIRSTBORN son of God would not be LOST or FORGOTTEN according to God's Plan whereby he promised to TIE Judah's donkey of Prophecy as Ruler, to the Fruitful Bough (Ephraim) as the RIGHTFUL HEIR of the VINE PROMISE of Josef! And these things would be "sealed up" from the time of David until the Rejection/Sacrifice of the PROMISED SON who would then be resurrected in Power at God's Right Hand as David shows us...then these things would be SEALED UP again until the end of the age of the Gentiles where all are under Grace as the Antediluvian's were, until he sends his OWN Messenger to UNSEAL these TRUTHS to begin the "time of his power". The Messenger he sends to INHERIT under HIS AUTHORITY is none other than the "Root of Jesse" (Is. 11:10-12, Rev. 18:1-4) who stands in the end days to UNITE the House of Judah and the House of Israel back together as the "Prince of Israel" (Dan. 12:1-2, Rev. 20:1-4), to RULE EARTH under God as King according to His Plan for His "Seed" (Rev. 2:26-28, 21:7, Ez. 37:19)!
David's Meditations in Summary
Now I want to discuss EXACTLY WHEN the CONCEPT of this promised BIRTHRIGHT of God's Son being the very "Image of God's Righteousness" to be the "Firstfruit" resurrected from the dead to be seated at God's Right Hand, which David tells us about in Psalm 110, came to be confirmed in his mind so that he gave us the "Image of God's Righteousness" who would be GLORIFIED in Power for which Abel, Isaac, and Josef all gave him INSIGHT to "See" by FAITH; God's Messiah whom he talked about coming in Psalm 2 and whom he called his "Lord" in Psalm 110.
It was after God took his firstborn son to atone for his own sin for which there was NO SACRIFICE under the Mosaic Covenant over which he was King, which he KNEW would be broken and we would be taken into Bondage of World Diaspora before God brings us into the INTENDED COVENANT for which Moses' Covenant was only a PATTERN by which to understand what was coming. He recognized a "son of promise" more righteous than Josef was being referred to in the Mosaic Covenant which God gave us when He brought us out from the FIRST BONDAGE...and the GREATER WORLD BONDAGE pointing to the REJECTION of this son, would end with out GREAT EXODUS into a Renewed and BETTER, more MERCIFUL Covenant than the one HE BROKE! He wrote Psalm 110 after he wrote Psalm 51.
He recognized the PROMISED SEED who would CRUSH the head of the Seed of the Serpent to END their VIOLENT REBELLION (where men SACRIFICE the INNOCENT to HIDE their CRIMES AGAINST GOD as Joseph's brothers did and as David himself realized he had become POWER DRUNK to believe he could get away with, which was the ORIGIN of VICARIOUS SACRIFICE through which God chose to MIRROR the spiritual reality of man's rebelliously wicked condition to us...and for which the Prophet Isaiah later speaks about the "Lie" those who would make this pact with death in the future by slaying the HEIR of God's SEED promise 28:15-18) and Save the World as the PERFECT IMAGE of the FATHER according to the Plan, after he sinned with Bathsheba and God took his INNOCENT SON as an "atonement" for his sin which had NO COVERING under the Mosaic Law. Again I cover this in much greater detail elsewhere, so I will just hit the high points to outline the bare bones details here.
In 2 Sam. 11 we see that David was ruling as King when he sends Joab the commander of his armies to siege Rabbah (Aman, the capitol of modern day Jordan) while he stayed behind and commits adultery with Bathsheba in Jerusalem and she becomes pregnant. David tries to hide what he had done by sending a message to Joab to have him send news of the battle back to him in Jerusalem by the hand of Uri Yah (Light of God). This pretense of wanting to get an account of the war from Uri Yah was a rouse by which David had planned that Uri Yah would go home and sleep with his wife Bathsheba so that she could claim the child as Uri Yah's (the Light of God) and David could be off the hook for committing adultery. But David's plan was frustrated because Uri Yah was more concerned with honoring God, the King, and with the welfare of the soldiers more than David was, and he refused to go home and see his wife but rather insisted on returning to the battle A.S.A.P. So David sends him back with a message to Joab telling him to send Uri Yah on a suicide mission to get rid of this RIGHTEOUS MAN. In this way David could marry his widow Bathsheba and hide his sin which would otherwise be EXPOSED by the Son in her womb (for which the Mosaic Law prescribes the Death penalty for both of them). So David has Uri Yah killed and marries his widow Bathsheba thinking that he had succeeded in hiding his sin until God sent Nathan to confront him on it.
Making a long story short (which I cover in greater detail elsewhere), David is told he would be forgiven (for adultery and the murder of the "Light of God", a man more righteous than himself that was God's "lamb" and not his!) but the cost would be his own "Firstborn Son" of GODS "SEED PROMISE" [which belongs to the House of Josef/Ephraim) that had clearly been given to David (2 Sam. 7:12-13). Why was the Birthright of Josef/Ephraim given to David if he is from the House of Judah? Because the "Root of Jesse" is a reference to OBED who was the promised "SEED" raised by Boaz to his half brother Elimelech (the son of Joshua/Jesus) from the House of Joseph/Ephraim, so that HIS INHERITANCE as the SON of the MORNINGSTAR would be CLAIMED by the TRUE INHERITOR of God's Promise at the APPOINTED TIME!]. During this time his son, the Prince of Israel is suffering, David himself is mourning over his sin and praying for the INNOCENT CHILD'S LIFE not to be taken for HIS SIN. This is when it all began to click for David. He recognized his own lineage of the RIGHTFUL HEIR (of the "Morningstar" who would come out of Josef as the Vine, from which the True Vine and Messianic "Branch" would spring forth) and the Spirit of God which was in David, even as was in his Righteous Patriarch Josef (Gen. 41:38, Ps. 51:11) who was under GRACE. Josef had no covenantal law and was under God's Grace AS ALL MEN WERE, and yet he COMMITTED NO SIN under a Covenant which was codified later...even ADULTERY on pain of Death at the hands of a WICKED WOMAN (defined later as the "Daughter of Babylon" and Religious "Harlot of Mystery Babylon") serving the Serpent of Egypt. David realized the "Son" God had promised him would be his own "Lord" whose righteousness FAR EXCEEDED his own, and would be KILLED to COVER OVER the sin of himself and others and be taken to God's Right Hand as the Image of God's Righteousness, even as God had used Josef as a sort of teaching model. David then recognized and served the merciful LORD under GRACE of a Renewed and Better Covenant (promised first through Moses in Deut. 30:1-7), the High Priest-King to God who would be REJECTED and SLAIN as a Passover Lamb, the Promised Seed of God like Josef which would BEGIN our WORLD BONDAGE under a period of Grace until his IDENTITY would be REVEALED (as Josef revealed his face to his brothers) and be ACKNOWLEDGED as the RIGHTFUL HEIR seated on God's Throne according to the PLAN by which ALL MEN could be SET FREE from BONDAGE to a CORRUPT WORLD KINGDOM depicted by the Statue of Nebuchadnezzar in Dan. 2:31-45 (like Noah from those of his generation) to enter a RE-ESTABLISHED and BETTER KINGDOM COVENANT in a New World Order serving THE PERFECT IMAGE of our FATHER according the Plan of our INVISIBLE GOD to ESTABLISH HIS KINGDOM so we may KNOW and SERVE HIM in SPIRIT and in TRUTH as King over Heaven and Earth and bring the seed of the Serpents Rebellion into JUDGEMENT for the salvation of the world according to a BETTER PLAN than Noah's Ark! In this way we ESTABLISH God's Kingdom so that His Will is done on earth as in heaven.
In Final Analysis
So when Paul says in Romans 10:1-4 that the Pharisees had not RECOGNIZED the "Image of God's Righteousness" as the "Goal" of Moses Law which DEFINES HIM as the Promised "Seed" according the Righteousness of the FAITH of our FATHERS, because they had misinterpreted the text and made up their OWN "IMAGE of Righteousness", he is merely re-iterating what the Fathers of our faith through Moses, David, and Jesus himself, told us was going to happen IN ADVANCE. Now having been REJECTED as prophesied (and Glorified as David depicts in Ps. 110), which BEGAN our diaspora in world bondage (as prophesied first by Moses in Deut. 30:1-7) to the "times of the gentiles" under a period of Grace (which is a reference to God's deferred judgement) which is also defined as "Mystery Babylon" upon whom His Judgement shall come so His People are SET FREE in the Great Exodus (Rev. 18:1-4), which is depicted by the Statue of Nebuchadnezzar (Dan. 2:31-45), Grace is now about to END (as it did for the Antediluvians of Noah's Day, and for Egypt who enslaved Israel) and it's time to COME OUT from our bondage (Rev. 18:4) in the promised Great Exodus for which that from Egypt was a PATTERN to learn from.
The son of Josef who has the RIGHT of the FIRSTBORN "SEED" of God's Promise, now sits on the Heavenly Throne as God's Image Bearer, the RIGHTEOUSNESS of God as promised from the foundation of the world, and it is NOW the "day of his power" when HIS PEOPLE will RECOGNIZE HIS FACE according to the "SEED PROMISE" given to the "Root of Jesse" as the Prince of Israel, and be WILLING to OBEY God's Messianic King (Savior) as David himself did, and prophesied we would also do in the time of his power (Ps. 110:3)! David had been BORN AGAIN into the Kingdom ABOVE by His FAITH in God's SEED Promise, even as Jesus rebuked Nicodemus and the Pharisees for NOT KNOWING or teaching about, while exalting themselves as TEACHERS of Israel (Jn. 3:3 & 10)!
Jesus said: "You're a Teacher of Israel and don't know these things?" Jn. 3:10
This is how BY FAITH, David was BORN FROM ABOVE and served Jesus as His "LORD", the PROMISED "FIRSTBORN SEED" of God who is High Priest-King over the INTENDED HEAVENLY KINGDOM COVENANT, as Jesus himself taught was the very reason he came...to FULFILL David's Vision of the Kingdom (Mat. 22:42-45)!
Whose son is the Messiah?...If the Messiah is the son of David, why does David in Spirit call him "Lord"? Mat. 22:42-45
David recognized (as did the Prophet Isaiah who later gave us the "Root of Jesse" prophecy as an "end days" CLUE to understand as well) that IDENTITY of the "SEED" of God's Promise which belongs to Josef/Ephraim that would come through his own loins to be REJECTED as his progenitor Josef was, from whom he himself carries this SECRET, would not be DISCLOSED until AFTER he is REJECTED as Josef was, BEGIN the World Bondage which Moses promised, and RESURRECTED to LIFE as the FIRSTFRUIT of our FAITH in God, and would be GLORIFIED to sit at God's Right Hand during our world bondage deferring judgement in a period of Grace until the Day of His Power when he would UNITE HIS SAINTS in the GREAT EXODUS to DO HIS WILL as the "Morningstar" of God's Promise...for which our Exodus from Egypt into the TEMPORAL COVENANT PROMISE was a mere OBJECT LESSON for what would be coming on the NEO-antediluvians who are currently DESTROYING THE WORLD IN VIOLENCE AND INSANITY. Then His Saints INHERIT the World Kingdom as His Administrators for which Noah was a shadow.
The Pharisees COULD have known this KINGDOM GOSPEL PLAN but God KNEW what they would do before they ever did it, just like he knew what Josef's brothers would do! God does not want ANY to perish but he gives all men the FREE WILL CHOICE in whom they will serve; they will either love and serve the TRUTH in His Spirit as David did, or they will PERISH for REBELLION to Him and His Kingdom in service to the LIE and any one of his many DELUSIONS as THEIR OWN CHOICE. We are now in the final stages of His Kingdom building plan as I demonstrate in this link and DESPITE any APPEARANCES you are being given the CHOICE whom you will serve TODAY!
