Moses preached the New Covenant Kingdom Gospel and identified Jesus as the CORNERSTONE of the Plan, and Socrates himself UNDERSTOOD this "Gospel Plan" for which Jesus would come, and he allegorized it in a Parable written down by his student Plato in his work called:
"Politeia" in Greek
"Res Publica" in Latin
and known to us in English as:
Plato's "Republic"
[Preface Note: Though we have the English translation "Republic" rendered from the Latin "Res Publica", the Greek word "Politeia" from which that translation came would be rendered more directly into English as "CONSTITUTION" from the ancient Greek, and today from modern Greek as "State". That being said, it should be understood that this work constitutes Socrates' VISION of a "Perfect Constitutional WORLD Republic of STATES" where TRUTH would RULE supreme as King or "God" through His LOVING SERVANTS or public officials he called "Philo Sophers". By "PhiloSophers" he means "Wisdom Lovers" of "TRUTH" as King or God, and for whom he died serving as the only TRUE "God" as one of the very first "WITNESSES" ("Martyrs" in Greek) for His Kingdom to be REALIZED. As disclosed within the work itself, he derived his vision in great part from the (Biblical) tales and writings of Phoenician (Hebrew-Cananite) traders. The work was put to pen by his student Plato]
In fact we will be JUXTAPOSITIONING TWO SPIRITUAL LIGHTS from the "Father of Lights", and their SELECTED "SIGNS" representing those LIGHTS in TWO DIAMETRICALLY OPPOSED "Kingdoms" according to Gods PLAN for CREATION and establishing HIS KINGDOM on earth, The TRUE LIGHT to DISPLACE the DECEIVER. One deceiving "Light" you might say is the "SORCERER'S STONE" which powerful spiritual light is EXPOSED as inferior by the light of TRUTH, the "PHILOSOPHER'S STONE" according to Gods ANCIENT PLAN to make an OPEN MOCKERY of the FOOLISHNESS and EVIL of the "wisdom" of the PRINCES OF THIS WORLD who REJECTED His "Cornerstone" Spirit of TRUTH, His "PHILOSOPHERS STONE", in service to the SPIRIT of DECEPTION, their "SORCERER'S STONE" exactly as He told us THOUSANDS OF YEARS before it ever happened.
As a PARABLE regarding the invisible 'CORNERSTONE SPIRIT' of a PERFECT 'light of the world' and a true legal SPIRIT of a 'CONSTITUTION' for a KINGDOM or 'Republic' which Socrates envisioned, which he claims to have learned about, at least in part, from Phoenicians (Hebrew speaking sailor-merchants), he gives us his famous CAVE PARABLE couched in a dialogue between the perfectly UNJUST and perfectly JUST kingdoms, the 'SIGNS' regarding the 'light of the world' they serve, and the juxtapositioned 'images' in men they create through THEIR RULE over the kingdom. Basically he understood the scriptures to tell us that the ruling classes rule by the DECEIVING SPIRIT of SATAN which took mankind CAPTIVE, and he saw the LIGHT of TRUTH that would come into our cave according to a PLAN, to SET US FREE!
I YHWH have called you in righteousness...I will make you a Covenant for the people as a Light to the Nations; to give sight to the blind and lead the captives out from their dungeon, those who sit in darkness out from captivity....The former things have come to pass, and the new thing I'm declaring will soon spring forth into 'reality'. Isaiah 42:6-9
I hypothesize that Socrates, who coined the term 'Philosopher' (which means 'lover of wisdom') to apply to himself, and who came to be known as the 'Father' of the discipline for which he coined the term, received knowledge of the God of Israel from Jews (perhaps hearing the Greek translation of the Hebrew texts in Synagogues in or around Athens) and, wanting to know more about this God of the Jews likely went so far as to acquire a Greek translation of the TeNaKh (Old Testament) for himself; and thus popularizing it among the intelligentsia of his day (as I will demonstrate), he thus paved the way for Ptolemy to later order an official translation to be written (the Greek Septuagint) for his own library in Alexandria (which became the new center for the world's intelligentsia). No doubt he had DIRECT REVELATION from God but because he was a 'lover of wisdom' he would have certainly wanted to have a very good understanding of the wisdom of the Jews. No doubt there were 'Old Testament' (TeNaKh) scriptures translated to Greek in the 4th Century B.C.E., even before King Ptolemy's 'official' translation ordered in the 3rd Century B.C.E., which he was able to acquire from these Phoenician sailor merchants, or perhaps borrowed them from a wealthy Patron able to aquire them (or cerainly would have heard oral readings from local Greek speaking Jews directly).
In this 'Old Testament' (whether he read it himself or learned of it verbally) he saw the NATURE of our 'reality' described there like that of a CAVE where the DECEIVING SPIRIT of SATAN has been controlling the NARRATIVE through his 'kings and priests' and their 'administrations' JUXTAPOSED and in REBELLION to the SPIRIT of TRUTH (who Socrates KNEW through DIRECT REVELATION as he himself expressly claims on various occasions) and Gods KINGDOM BUILDING BLUEPRINT to ESTABLISH HIS KINGDOM on earth. He saw the PERFECT FORM of JUSTICE and GOOD as a LIGHT of TRUTH, a 'CORNERSTONE SPIRIT' (associated with the VISIBLE 'SIGN' of the Moon) which would EXPOSE and 'set us free' from our BONDAGE to the SPIRIT of DECEPTION as our kingdom 'cornerstone' and 'light of the world' associated with the SIGN of the Sun in our "CAVE" (which in his parable is represented by a strange 'fire' used by the RELIGIOUS DECEIVERS controlling the cave narrative), and he wrote about this 'Pious Fiction' as a NARRATIVE believing it to be ABSOLUTELY TRUE and believed it would EVENTUALLY RULE EARTH in a PERFECT 'REPUBLIC'!
In his parable he essentially PROPHESIED that the PSYCHOPATH LEADERS of the worlds BEASTLY NATIONS who use RELIGIOUS LIES (like an 'Emperor with no clothes' to RULE them) to keep their 'masses' under control through their control of the 'priest class', would SLAY the 'Philosopher King' which Gods KINGDOM TIMES AND LAW point to when he came into the world at the APPOINTED TIME of GOD, known as the 'Moshiach' which Daniel describes would be "cut off" after the Grecian Kingdom rule to begin the LAST "BEAST KINGDOM" (which I demonstate took place according to the plan he envisioned from Daniel's prophecy), and create a WORLD HOUSE "BEAST" kingdom using the SUN as the 'CORNERSTONE' 'sign' they would select for the TIMES AND LAWS for the WORLD HOUSE they would build and rule through DECEPTION using the SPIRIT OF SATAN they actually serve keeping the PRISONERS ENSLAVED to the FALSE SPIRIT of God using a POWERFUL visible 'SIGN' to represent the LIGHT of that SPIRIT of DECEPTION being served in his parable (described as a CAVE of enslavement lit with a FIRE, which represents the Sun in our world 'reality' he's trying to reveal to us is the SIGN which had always been used by the "ELITE CLASSES" as the "STRANGE FIRE" they serve, which represents the "SPIRIT of Satan" as the "CORNERSTONE" "prince of this world" which they serve as their 'Light of the World'). Socrates' parable describes the 'CORNERSTONE PLAN' of God to EXPOSE and DESTROY SATANS WORLD KINGDOM by ESTABLISHING THE TRUTH of our 'cave reality' which will FREE US FROM SATANS KINGDOM in GREAT EXODUS as described in the OLD TESTAMENT SCRIPTURES where HE GOT IT FROM!
We have a CONFIRMATION of PROPHECY and you would do well to PAY ATTENTION TO IT like a LIGHT in a DARK PLACE until the DAWN COMES and the Morning Star rises in the EYE of your minds. 2 Pet. 1:19
Plato was a disciple of Socrates and he wrote about most of his Master's teachings in his work that has come to be known to us today as 'Plato's Republic'. This CLASSIC PHILOSOPHICAL WORK is a sort of CORROLARY for understanding my own Work based on TORAH (LAW) and the PROPHETS which is CORROBORATED by the SCIENCES; particularly MATHEMATICS, MICRO-BIOLOGY, PHYSICS and COMPUTING SCIENCE, but also POLITICAL SCIENCE and PSYCHOLOGY.
Yes, the man who coined the term 'PHILOSOPHER', which means LOVER OF WISDOM (which is the 'ESSENCE of TRUTH') ALSO preached the VERY SAME ETERNAL GOSPEL as the New Testament writer Paul preached 400 years later who DIRECTLY QUOTES SOCRATES in MANY PLACES (as do James and John)! Socrates even had a 'cult following' who came to WITNESS JESUS COMING to DIE obediently to ESTABLISH the TRUTH of "Light" of GODS SPIRIT (they heard that he referred to himself the "Light of the World" which Socrates said would come and die according to the PLAN he saw, and they came to see him die AS PLANNED, Jn. 12:20-26). Then this Gospel plan was SEALED UP by the STRANGE FIRE WORSHIPPERS of our cave, the DRAGON KINGDOM (the "perfectly UNJUST" kingdom according to Socrates) which would DECEIVE THE WORLD. Then the plan would be unsealed to the world later to free the world to establish the PERFECT WORLD KINGDOM 'REPUBLIC', as PROMISED by their master (Jn. 12:20-26)! This is the ONLY TRUE 'Gospel' and it EXPOSES the IMPOSTER WORSHIPPERS marked by the 'SUN' as the Sign of their SATANIC 'cornerstone light of the world', for JUDGEMENT and GREAT EXODUS into the NEW COVENANT KINGDOM (for which the exodus from Pharaoh in Egypt was a DIM SHADOW by which to TEACH US) as designed and PROPHESIED! This is what Socrates will help us to understand in his KINGDOM BUILDING PARABLE as the CORNERSTONE of his 'REPUBLIC', as recorded by his student Plato!
I have condensed the 400 page work down to about 10 printed pages to aid my readers in understanding my own work. This work constitutes the OBJECTIVE EVIDENCE of things NOT SEEN to be MORE REAL than the things which ARE seen for those of you who have a minds EYE which is able and WILLING to perceive such an ETERNAL LIGHT in a world still being manipulated by SATANISTS and SORCERERS networking together in KEY POSITIONS OF POWER and who are revered by their BLINDLY deceived slave masses as the PROFESSIONALS who (think they) are IN CONTROL. We yet live in a CAVE DARKNESS groomed by the Psychopathic (Narcissistic) MIND of Man that has RULED the world since Adam enslaved ALL MANKIND to that PERFECT IMAGE of LIES, EVIL, HYPOCRISY and INJUSTICE which has USURPED GODS AUTHORITY ON EARTH ever since, and which is FINALLY BEING EXPOSED by the ETERNAL LIGHT OF TRUTH, all as PROMISED AND FORE-ORDAINED in GODS KINGDOM LAW which SHALL BE ESTABLISHED ON EARTH according to the PLAN for which He sent HIS "IMAGE BEARER", the Messiah!
This begins Socrates' DIALOGUE on the 'LIGHT' of the otherwise invisible (spiritual) IDEALS of the "IMAGE of the PERFECTLY GOOD" and the "IMAGE of the PERFECTLY EVIL" that are manifest in imperfect visible FORMS (humans) by which to recognize the SPIRIT they MANIFEST as an "COPY" of the "IMAGE", and the degree of perfection by which they do it. This is the CONTEXT in which his subsequent 'CAVE PARABLE' is couched.
Plato's Republic (Select Excerpts from books 6 & 7):
We are enquiring into: the nature of ABSOLUTE JUSTICE and into the character of the perfectly just, and into injustice AND THE PERFECTLY UNJUST, that we might have an IDEAL of each...
...and were we not enquiring into the nature of a perfect State (government)?
To be sure, we were.
Well...I said: Until Philosophers are Kings, or the Kings and Princes of this world have the SPIRIT and POWER of Philosophy (love of wisdom), and political greatness and wisdom meet in ONE, and those commoner natures who pursue either to the exclusion of the other are compelled to stand aside, cities (governments) will never have rest from their evils--nor humanity as a whole...for as I believe...and am convinced that in no other State (government) can there be happiness public or private....
...Who then are the true Philosophers?
Those, I said, who are LOVERS OF "THE VISION OF TRUTH" (a.k.a. the "Gospel Plan of the Kingdom of God")!
That's good, he said, but I should like to know what you mean.
To another I might have difficulty in explaining, but I'm sure you will admit to the proposition which I am about to make.
What is the proposition?
That since beauty is the opposite of ugly, are they two?
Certainly.
And in as much as they are two, each of them is one?
True again.
And of Just and Unjust, Good and Evil, and of every other class, the same remark holds; taken singly, each of them is one; but from the various combinations of them with actions and things and with one another, they are seen in all sorts of lights and appear as many?
Very true.
This is the distinction I would draw between the sight-loving, art-loving, practical class and those of whom I am speaking, and who alone are worthy of the name of Philosophers.
He said; How do you distinquish them?
The lovers of sounds and sights, I replied, are, as I conceive, fond of fine tones and colours and forms and all the artificial products that are made out of them, but their mind is incapable of seeing or loving absolute beauty.
True, he replied.
Few they are who are able to attain to the sight of this.
Very true.
And he who, having a sense of beautiful things (visible beauty) has no sense of absolute beauty (invisible Spiritual perfection), or who, if another lead him to a knowledge of that beauty is unable to follow --of such a one I ask, Is he awake or in a dream only?
(Socrates is arguing the existence of a SPIRITUAL REALITY which is MANIFEST in VISIBLE FORMS, which most who are like dreamers, are unable to see REALITY as it TRULY IS and see only the visible and audible forms)
Reflect: is not the dreamer, whether sleeping or waking, one who likens dissimilar things, who puts an IMAGE (which is visible COPY) in the place of the REAL IDEAL (which is the PERFECT SPIRITUAL IMAGE)?
I should certainly say that such an one was dreaming.
But take the case of the other, who recognizes the existence of absolute beauty and is able to distinguish the (invisible) IDEAL from the IMAGES (visible Forms or Copies) which participate in the nature of the ideal, neither putting the IMAGES in the place of the ideal nor the ideal in the place of the IMAGES --is he a dreamer, or is he awake?
He is WIDE AWAKE (A.K.A. 'born from above' to become an Image of the INVISIBLE IDEAL, the 'IMAGE of God')
[Socrates just argued the existence of an INVISIBLE REALITY which here he calls the IDEAL of 'good'. Elsewhere he calls this invisible perfect ideal 'God', which was considered a MONOTHEISTIC heresy in his POLYTHEISTIC society for which he was later executed. In addition to the invisible 'God' is a VISIBLE reality (our material reality) where copies or IMAGES of the INVISIBLE IDEAL ('good') can be seen to be PARTICIPATING in the NATURE of that which EXISTS INVISIBLY...and those who can not tell the difference between the IDEAL and the copies or IMAGES but rather use an IMAGE in the PLACE of the IDEAL ('good'/God) in which the IMAGE is to be FORMED, are NOT 'AWAKE' to REALITY yet but are DECEIVED by temporal MATERIAL reality to put IMAGES in HIS PLACE...or as we might say, they are not yet 'BORN AGAIN' from ABOVE. Like children who simply accept what is presented to them as most real, they are simply DECEIVED by the ILLUSION of material reality and can only envision FORMS/IMAGES in the place of the INVISIBLE IDEAL. They are simply not able yet to CONCEPTUALIZE or 'SEE' in their minds EYE, the IDEAL LIGHT of TRUTH, but confuse Him with visible IMAGES in material reality. Paul discussed this phenomena regarding SPIRITUALLY MINDED MEN vs. CARNAL MINDED in many places, nearly quoting Socrates verbatum in 1 Cor. 2:13-14]
And may we not say that the mind of the one who knows has knowledge, and that the mind of the other, who opines only, has opinion only?
Certainly.
But suppose that the latter should quarrel with us and dispute our statement, can we administer any soothing cordial or advice to him, without revealing to him that there is a sad disorder in his wits?
We must certainly offer him some GOOD ADVICE, he replied.
Come, then, and let us think of something to say to him. Shall we begin by assuring him that he is welcome to any knowledge which he may have, and that we are rejoiced at his having it? But we should like to ask him a question (and you must answer for him): Does he who has knowledge know something or nothing?
I answer for him: "He knows something."
Something that is or is not?
Something that is; for how can that which is not ever be known?
And we are assured, after looking at the matter from many points of view, that absolute beauty is or may be absolutely known, but that the utterly non-existent is utterly unknown?
Nothing can be more certain.
...And knowledge corresponds to being, and ignorance of necessity corresponds to not being, there then has to be a corresponding intermediate between being and pure negation of being...as corresponding to knowledge and ignorance...that being...the existence of opinion?
Undoubtedly.
[Here Socrates argues that artisans who are able to have opinions about what is beautiful or ugly, have very diverse opinions because they lack the faculty able to give them ability to KNOW absolute beauty or ugliness, just like those who are not able to see the ABSOLUTE nature of Justice and Injustice or Good and EVIL. This is the realm which only the Philosopher has FACULTY to be able to SEE with clarity of VISION. He argues that there is a very small class of people he calls Philosophers (lovers of wisdom) which have the faculty of seeing a HEAVENLY PATTERN of a KINGDOM of PERFECT JUSTICE which EXISTS, and these are those who, seeing the heavenly pattern, are able to both EMULATE the perfection of the HEAVENLY KING, the FATHER OF LIGHTS, and to ESTABLISH HIS CONSTITUTION on THIS EARTH according to THAT HEAVENLY PATTERN which they have the FACULTY to be able to SEE]
...no state can be happy which is not designed by artists imitating the heavenly pattern...whether in the individual or a State...
...they will proceed to trace an outline of the Constitution (of the heavenly ideal)...and as I conceive it, they will first look up, and then back down again; I mean they will first look at absolute justice and beauty and temperance, and again at the human copy...in order to implement the heavenly ideal into human form and the elements of the divine into a human form which, when existing among men, Homer calls them the "image and likeness of God."...
....but...let us not at present ask what is the actual nature of the GOOD (the invisible IDEAL), for to reach what is now in my thoughts would be an effort too great for me. But of the SON (IMAGE) of the (IDEAL) GOOD who is MOST LIKE HIM, I would fain speak, if I could be sure that you wished to hear --otherwise, not.
By all means, he said, tell us about the Son, and you shall remain in our debt for the account of the Father.
I do indeed wish, I replied, that I could pay, and you receive, the account of the Father, and not, as now, of the offspring only; [IN OTHER WORDS: Socrates is prefacing his parable in this dialectic regarding 'perfect injustice' and 'perfect justice' by telling us we may only understand the glory of the Father of Lights by FIRST understanding the role of his TWO SONS who 'APPEAR MOST LIKE HIM', and those who SERVE THEM, which he is about to show us the DIFFERENCES in his parable. One USURPS AUTHORITY and STEALS the FATHERS GLORY to himself in our MATERIAL 'cave reality', and the other is a FAITHFUL WITNESS who testifies of the IDEAL, the FATHER OF LIGHTS, as a FAITHFUL SON and WITNESS for the FATHER OF LIGHT. Torah Law (from which I posit Socrates saw this LIGHT of HEAVEN) likewise tells us we should understand the SUN is the SIGN which represents the FIRST SON which blinds the minds of materialistic children and the MOON represents the FAITHFUL WITNESS the FATHER SELECTED to SERVE HIM in order to BRING HIM GLORY in our 'CAVE' so we may be BORN FROM ABOVE to establish the KINGDOM OF HEAVEN on EARTH according to His ANCIENT PLAN] take, however, this latter by way of interest, and at the same time have a care that I do not render a false account, although I have no intention of deceiving you.
Yes, we will take all the care that we can: proceed.
Yes, I said, but I must first come to an understanding with you, and remind you of what I have mentioned in the course of this discussion, and at many other times.
What?
The old story, that there are (images) many beautiful and many good, and so of other things which we describe and define; to all of them 'many' (images) is applied.
True, he said.
And there is an absolute beauty and an absolute good, and of other things to which the term 'many' (images) is applied there is an absolute; for they may be brought under a SINGLE IDEAL, which is called the 'essence' of each.
Very true.
The many (temporal IMAGES), as we say, are seen but (their invisible 'image') not known, and the ideas (invisible IDEALS of Good vs Evil) are (invisibly) known but not seen (in PERFECT IMAGES).
Exactly.
(Note*** Socrates just argued that we see temporal IMAGES but their IDEAL IMAGE is not known through SIGHT because the IDEAL, which MAY BE KNOWN or PERCEIVED by the EYE OF THE MIND alone, through UNDERSTANING. The IDEAL "IMAGE of God" is NOT detected or 'seen' with PHYSICAL EYES in PHYSICAL IMAGES, the IDEAL IMAGE is the SPIRITUAL REALITY which is INVISIBLE to our EYEBALLS)
And what is the organ with which we see the visible things?
The sight, he said.
And with the hearing, I said, we hear, and with the other senses perceive the other objects of sense?
True.
[Socrates here takes an INDIRECT route to establishing the SENSE of the MIND by which INVISIBLE IDEALS can be detected and "seen", through the obviously INTELLIGENTLY DESIGNED "input sensing device" of the EYEBALL which requires a "light" to ENABLE IT to see]
But have you remarked that sight is by far the most costly and complex piece of workmanship which the artificer of the senses ever contrived?
No, I never have, he said.
Then reflect; has the ear or voice need of any third or additional nature in order that the one may be able to hear and the other to be heard?
Nothing of the sort.
No, indeed, I replied; and the same is true of most, if not all, the other senses --you would not say that any of them requires such an addition?
Certainly not.
But you see that without the addition of some other nature there is no seeing or being seen?
How do you mean?
Sight being, as I conceive, in the eyes, and he who has eyes wanting to see; colour being also present in them, still unless there be a third nature specially adapted to the purpose, the owner of the eyes will see nothing and the colours will be invisible.
Of what nature are you speaking?
Of that which you term LIGHT, I replied.
[In the INVISIBLE SPIRIT REALM it is the LIGHT of TRUTH that ILLUMINES the EYE of the MIND to SEE 'REALITY' CLEARLY, since it can not be seen with the eyeball alone! Apart from the LIGHT of TRUTH, the eye of the mind is BLIND regarding REALITY (though the physical 'eyeballs' may see well). Yet the feeble minded BLIND GUIDES and TEACHERS, like those Jesus reprimanded in HIS DAY 400 years later, and many Religious teachers to this day, pretend to 'see' spiritual reality not realizing Satan has deceived them from perceiving how blind and NAKED they really are in the LIGHT of TRUTH, which EXPOSES THEIR NAKEDNESS to those who have a MINDS EYE to REALLY 'SEE' spiritual REALITY!]
True, he said.
Noble, then, is the bond which links together sight and visibility, and great beyond other bonds by no small difference of nature; for LIGHT is their bond, and light is no ignoble thing?
Nay, he said, the reverse of ignoble.
And which, I said, of the gods in heaven would you say was the lord of this element? Whose is that light which makes the eye to see perfectly and the visible to appear?
You mean the sun, as you and all mankind say?
May not the relation of sight to this deity be described as follows?
How?
Neither sight nor the eye in which sight resides is the
sun, No?
Yet of all the organs of sense, the eye is the most like the sun?
By far the most like.
And the power which the eye possesses is a sort of effluence which is dispensed from the sun?
Exactly.
Then the sun is NOT 'sight,' but the AUTHOR OF sight who is recognised BY 'sight'?
True, he said.
And this is he whom I call the CHILD of the (invisible) GOOD (God), whom the GOOD BEGAT IN HIS OWN LIKENESS, to BE IN the VISIBLE WORLD, in relation to sight and the things of sight, what the GOOD is in the INTELLECTUAL WORLD in relation to mind and the things of mind.
[Socrates is about to explain that the Sun (and Moon) represent TWO SPIRITUAL SONS of the IDEAL invisible GOOD (God). One is PERFECTLY UNJUST, a DECEIVER and is seen in the VISIBLE WORLD and BLINDS MINDS from seeing the TRUE 'SON' who FAITHFULLY reflects the INVISIBLE IMAGE and SPIRITUAL LIGHT of the invisible IDEAL GOOD (God of TRUTH) which is seen ONLY WITH THE EYE OF THE MIND when the light of TRUTH shines on it. The Torah (Bible) tells us THIS CORNERSTONE 'SIGN' for THE SPIRIT OF TRUTH which is the PERFECT IMAGE of the invisible FATHER OF LIGHTS, is represented by the MOON!]
Will you be a little more explicit? he said.
Why, you know, I said, that the eyes, when a person directs them towards objects on which the light of day is no longer shining...see dimly and are nearly blind; they seem to have no clearness of vision in them?
Very true.
But when they are directed towards objects on which the sun shines, they see clearly and there is sight in them?
Certainly.
Then the soul (mind) is like the eye: when resting upon that on which TRUTH and being shine, the soul (mind) perceives and understands and is radiant with intelligence; but when turned towards the twilight of becoming (the material world of temporal/finite reality) and perishing, then has opinion only, and goes blinking about, and is first of one opinion and then of another, and seems to have no intelligence?

Now, that which imparts (the LIGHT of) TRUTH to the KNOWN and the POWER of KNOWING to the KNOWER is what I would have you term the IDEAL of GOOD (God), and this you will deem to be the cause of science (knowledge), and of truth in so far as the latter becomes the subject of knowledge (science); beautiful too, as are both truth and knowledge (science), you will be right in esteeming this other nature as more beautiful than either; and, as in the previous instance, light and sight may be truly said to be like the sun, and yet not to be the sun, so in this other sphere, knowledge (science) and truth [ the 'light' of which is represented by the moon in the Bible PLAN, like a light switch to illuminate Humans with TRUE SCIENCE/KNOWLEDGE (light) regarding our METAPHYSICAL REALITY and the INTELLIGENCE of our CREATOR in whom we LIVE, move, and have our very existence] may be deemed to be like the GOOD (an IMAGE of God), but not the GOOD (God); the GOOD (God) has a place of honour yet higher [than any visible IMAGE or any material device like a BRAIN (radio receiver/transmitter) which is able to perceive and connect with his otherwise invisible spiritual REALITY].
What a wonder of beauty that must be, he said, which is the author of science (knowledge) and truth, and yet surpasses them in beauty; for you surely cannot mean to say that 'pleasure' is the good?

[This is just another place where we can see that Socrates had been ENLIGHTENED by the Light of LIFE which is the 'CORNERSTONE TRUTH' of the BIBLE! He highlights the common belief that the Sun (which had its "GENESIS" by an INVISIBLE LIGHT far greater than itself) is believed to provide the "genesis" and nourishment of life, knowing that the Bible ascribed the CREATION of LIFE to an INVISIBLE LIGHT in DAY 3 of the "Genesis" account, BEFORE creating the Sun on DAY 4 of "Genesis", which he makes ALLUSION TO here before ALLEGORIZING the BIBLE BLUEPRINT! As Socrates clearly SAW, and as I point out as the "CORNERSTONE" of my life's work, THIS INVISIBLE LIGHT of TRUTH (seen only with the APPARATUS of the MIND that is not "blind", like the light of the sun is seen by the eyeball that is not blind) was EXPRESSLY ASSOCIATED to be ANCHORED to the 'CORNERSTONE SIGN' of the MOON, not the Sun, in the BIBLE PLAN which Socrates CLEARLY UNDERSTOOD and allegorized wonderfully in his Cave Parable! Behold! human beings living in an underground den, which has a mouth open towards the light and reaching all along the den; here they have been from their childhood, and have their legs and necks chained so that they cannot move, and can only see before them, being prevented by the chains from turning round their heads. Above and behind them a fire is blazing at a distance, and between the fire and the prisoners there is a raised way; and you will see, if you look, a low wall built along the way, like the screen which marionette players have in front of them, over which they show the puppets.
I see.
And do you see, I said, men passing along the wall carrying all sorts of vessels, and statues and figures of animals made of wood and stone and various materials, which appear over the wall? Some of them are talking, others silent.
You have shown me a strange image, and they are strange prisoners.
Like ourselves, I replied; and they see only their own shadows, or the shadows of one another, which the fire throws on the opposite wall of the cave?
True, he said; how could they see anything but the shadows if they were never allowed to move their heads?
And of the objects which are being carried in like manner they would only see the shadows?
Yes, he said.
And if they were able to converse with one another, would they not suppose that they were naming what was actually before them?
Very true.
And suppose further that the prison had an echo which came from the other side, would they not be sure to fancy when one of the passers-by spoke that the voice which they heard came from the passing shadow?
No question, he replied.
To them, I said, the truth would be literally nothing but the shadows of the images.
That is certain.
And now look again, and see what will naturally follow if the prisoners are released and disabused of their error. At first, when any of them is liberated and compelled suddenly to stand up and turn his neck round and walk and look towards the light, he will suffer sharp pains; the glare will distress him, and he will be unable to see the realities of which in his former state he had seen only the shadows; and then conceive some one saying to him, that what he saw before was an illusion, but that now, when he is approaching nearer to being and his eye is turned towards more real existence, he has a clearer vision, -what will be his reply? And you may further imagine that his instructor is pointing to the objects as they pass and requiring him to name them, -will he not be perplexed? Will he not fancy that the shadows which he formerly saw are truer than the objects which are now shown to him?
Far truer.
And if he is compelled to look straight at the light, will he not have a pain in his eyes which will make him turn away to take in the objects of vision which he can see, and which he will conceive to be in reality clearer than the things which are now being shown to him?

And suppose once more, that he is reluctantly dragged up a steep and rugged ascent, and held fast until he's forced into the presence of the sun himself, is he not likely to be pained and irritated? When he approaches the light his eyes will be dazzled, and he will not be able to see anything at all of what are now called realities.
Not all in a moment, he said.
He will require to grow accustomed to the sight of the upper world. And first he will see the shadows best, next the reflections of men and other objects in the water, and then the objects themselves; then he will gaze upon the light of the moon and the stars and the spangled heaven; and he will see the sky and the stars by night better than the sun or the light of the sun by day?
Certainly.
Last of he will be able to see the sun, and not mere reflections of him in the water, but he will see him in his own proper place, and not in another; and he will contemplate him as he is.
Certainly.
He will then proceed to argue that this is he who gives the season and the years, and is the guardian of all that is in the visible world, and in a certain way the cause of all things which he and his fellows have been accustomed to behold?
Clearly, he said, he would first see the sun and then reason about him.
And when he remembered his old habitation, and the wisdom of the den and his fellow-prisoners, do you not suppose that he would felicitate himself on the change, and pity them?
Certainly, he would.
And if they were in the habit of conferring honours among themselves on those who were quickest to observe the passing shadows and to remark which of them went before, and which followed after, and which were together; and who were therefore best able to draw conclusions as to the future, do you think that he would care for such honours and glories, or envy the possessors of them?...
....Yes, he said, I think that he would rather suffer anything than entertain these false notions and live in this miserable manner.
Imagine once more, I said, such an one coming suddenly out of the sun to be replaced in his old situation; would he not be certain to have his eyes full of darkness?
To be sure, he said.
And if there were a contest, and he had to compete in measuring the shadows with the prisoners who had never moved out of the den, while his sight was still weak, and before his eyes had become steady (and the time which would be needed to acquire this new habit of sight might be very considerable) would he not be ridiculous? Men would say of him that up he went and coming back down he came without his eyes; and that it was better not even to think of ascending; and if any one tried to loose another and lead him up to the light, let them only catch the offender, and they would put him to death.
No question, he said.
This entire allegory, I said, you may now append, dear Glaucon, to the previous argument; the PRISON HOUSE IS THE WORLD OF SIGHT (of our Material imprisonment/cave reality) and the SUN IS THE LIGHT OF THE FIRE (the "sorcerers stone" used by the Kings and Priests of BEAST KINGDOMS serving the Spirit of Deception and Rebellion to the Spirit of Truth since the foundation of the world), and you will not misunderstand me if you interpret the journey upwards to be the ascent of the soul (mind) into the intellectual world (a True 'Philosophers' rebirth into spiritual utopia or 'Heaven' to incarnate the SPIRIT of DIVINE TRUTH in a flesh body like an unadorned clay jar or wooden box might hide an IMPERISHABLE TREASURE within it) according to my poor belief which, as you desired I have expressed, whether rightly or wrongly only God knows. But, whether true or false, my opinion is that in the world of knowledge the IDEAL of GOOD appears last of all (in the EYE of the MIND) and is seen only with an effort (of REASONING); and, when seen (in the MIND where TRUE 'SEEING' exists), is also inferred to be the UNIVERSAL AUTHOR of all things beautiful and right, the Father of (invisible) LIGHTS and also (the Father) of the Lord of Light (the Sun) in this visible (material) world (representing the rebellious 'God' of this world usurping the Fathers glory to himself through deception), and the immediate SOURCE of the LIGHT of REASON and TRUTH in the intellectual (invisible/heavenly) world; and that THIS IS THE POWER (of the INVISIBLE 'LIGHT' of TRUTH symbolized by the 'CORNERSTONE' of the MOON through PROGRAMMING CODE of TORAH LAW) upon which he who would act rationally, either in public or private life, MUST HAVE HIS EYE FIXED.

...Whereas, our argument shows that the power and capacity of learning
exists in the soul (mind) already; and that just as the eye was unable
to turn from darkness to light without the whole body, so too the
instrument of knowledge can only by the movement of the whole soul (mind)
be turned from the world of becoming into that of being, and
learn by degrees to endure the sight of being, and of the brightest and
best of being, or in other words, of the (IDEAL) 'good' (God).
Very true.
And must there not be some art which will effect CONVERSION in the easiest and quickest manner; not implanting the faculty of sight, for that exists already, but has been turned in the wrong direction, and is looking away from the truth?
Summary of Socrates as related to this Thesis:
This my friends is where the LIGHT of TORAH LAW ENFLESHED CORRECTLY comes in, all as PART of the PLAN to create IMAGES of the IDEAL and not merely IMAGES of an (authority usurping) IMAGE used to DECEIVE us as PRISONERS in a DUNGEON, as is currently being done, as we shall see CLEARLY from the TORAH GOSPEL PLAN unsealed in DETAIL, later in this work.
I YHWH have called you in righteousness...I will make you a Covenant for the people as a Light to the Nations; to give sight to the blind and lead the captives out from their dungeon, those who sit in darkness out from captivity....The former things have come to pass, and the new thing I'm declaring will soon spring forth into 'reality'. Isaiah 42:6-9
Before we go on, here are a couple of the simplest and most appropriate examples of New Testament Socratic quotes. The places where Jesus QUOTES SOCRATES when he references the concept of TRUE SPIRITUAL SIGHT, blindness, and nakedness (which is also discussed by John in Revelation) which Socrates goes into GREAT DETAIL in describing here, are NUMEROUS and well known. This Quote from James is obviously quoting or at least referencing the above Parable:
Everything good and perfect comes from above. It comes down from the eternally unchanging 'Father of Lights' in whom there is no shadow of change. James 1:17
And here's Paul's quote of Socrates argument about invisible SPIRITUAL IDEALS vs. visible CARNAL IMAGES and learning to 'compare similar things' rather than dissimilar as the 'carnal minded' are apt to do, where he suggests that Socrates had the MIND OF MESSIAH, as follows:
...we speak not in the words of man's wisdom but which the Holy Spirit teaches; comparing spiritual things with spiritual. But the carnal man can not understand the Spiritual things of God. They are Spiritually discerned and can not be known by the carnal mind. He who is spiritual judges all things, yet he himself is not judged of man. For who has known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of the Messiah. 1 Corinthians 2:13-16
I want to point out that though Paul says the "carnal minded" can not judge the spiritual minded, he was obviously not talking about their propensity to condemn what they don't understand as BRUTE BEASTS (and the children they deceive) thinking they do God a service. The Prophets, Socrates, Jesus, Paul and all the Disciples of "THE VISION OF TRUTH" or "Gospel Plan" to establish Gods Kingdom on Earth, have traditionally been condemned (and usually executed as in their cases) by the carnal minded STRANGE FIRE WORSHIPPERS as "heretics". What he was saying is that in REALITY they only condemn themselves to remain ENSLAVED to SATAN and they simply can't "SEE" (and even refuse to believe) that.
And here's a quote from Socrates in Platos work 'Phaedo' (on the soul), where Socrates, having been sentenced to death for teaching what is recorded in Platos Republic (above), awaited his fate. In the last hours before his death he is teaching on the immortality of the soul. It's followed by Paul's quote of him in the New Testament.
I dare say that the simile is not perfect - for I am very far from admitting that he who contemplates existence through the medium of ideas, sees them only "through a glass darkly," any more than he who sees them in their working and effects.
For now we see "through a glass darkly"; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known. 1 Corinthians 13:12

Succinctly stated in more modern terms, Socrates is saying that MATERIAL REALITY is a PRISON created and held together by the FATHER of LIGHTS where the SUN is equated to the FIRE in his parable which has been used by the WORLDS "BUILDERS" and "ELITE" kings and priests since the Antediluvian (Atlantian) world was destroyed for REBELLION to the TRUTH and which is STILL BEING USED BY SORCERERS to DECEIVE PEOPLE regarding the NATURE OF THEIR REALITY and the PLAN of GOD, SATANICALLY, to this very day...AS IN THE DAYS OF NOAH!
He understood that the "Father of Lights" created the MOON as a FAITHFUL WITNESS for the PERFECT 'FORM' or 'IMAGE' for Him and as a Faithful Witness 'SIGN' for HIS PEOPLE who He would LEAD OUT FROM THEIR BONDAGE to the WORLDS DECEIVERS who would SLAY that 'light of the world' represented by the MOON and REPLACE the TRUE CORNERSTONE RULER and the 'SIGN' representing Him in our CAVE, with a BLINDING IMPOSTER SPIRIT and SIGN...the REBELLIOUS SPIRIT, the 'God of this world' represented by the SUN as his SIGN they would serve, which was served in the Antedeluvian world, Babyl, Egypt and a yet future WORLD EMPIRE (ROME according to Daniel, from Socrates perspective in time)!
According to the TORAH PLAN he UNDERSTOOD, this 'messiah' (who he called a 'Philosopher-King') would be FIRST REJECTED by the worlds builders BLINDED BY THE GOD OF THIS WORLD represented by the SUN, and laid as a CORNERSTONE to begin BUILDING THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN ON EARTH in SPIRITUAL/PHILOSOPHICAL DARKNESS worshipping the IMAGES of THIS WORLD represented by the SUN! Then in the END DAYS the IMAGE of TRUTH (in what he termed as another 'light' from heaven or 'Philosopher-King') would EXPOSE THE MATERIAL LIES of the IDOLators and their IMAGES using the ONCE AGAIN UNSEALED TORAH HE ENFLESHES, for PERFECT JUDGEMENT on all who ACCUSE HIS LIGHT of being a LIE (as was already done ONCE) which will THEN BEGIN the INAUGURATION of the KINGDOM OF HEAVEN on earth being RULED BY SAINTS (which he calls: Philosopher-Kings) who have their EYE FIXED ON THE TRUE LIGHT OF THE WORLD represented by the MOON as the SIGN of their MORNING STAR RULER according to the TORAH LAW and PROPHETS!
Socrates was sentenced to death for teaching MONOTHEISM which was deemed as SEDITION (atheist heresy), and for leading the youth astray in rebellion to the IDOLatrous polytheistic heathen authorities. He died as a MARTYR (Greek for 'WITNESS') for testifying of the TRUE LIGHT BEARER, the PERFECT IMAGE of the FATHER of LIGHTS who would come into the world to be SNUFFED OUT by the FALSE LIGHT BEARER and those who SERVE SATAN, according to the ANCIENT GOSPEL PLAN he recognized 400 years before Jesus was even born! Like the Apostles later, they ALL 'saw' and TESTIFIED of, on PENALTY OF DEATH, the SAME ETERNAL, INVISIBLE 'LIGHT' in the FORM of HIS 'PERFECT IMAGE' in flesh, a 'FIRST BORN SON' who would be sent from the 'father of LIGHTS', the INVISIBLE ESSENCE of TRUTH; WISDOM, LOVE, and JUSTICE.
The PLAN required that this CORNERSTONE TRUTH for creating men in GODS IMAGE would be REJECTED as the CORNERSTONE of the LAW and RULING 'LIGHT OF THE WORLD' by 'POLITICAL DECEIVERS' who would come to WORLD POWER and who would SLAY and SUPPLANT HIM and kill ALL who would MANIFEST that IMAGE OF TRUTH in flesh which EXPOSES THEM, until JUDGEMENT DAY when the DECEPTION is EXPOSED by the TRUTH for GODS GLORY, and ALL WHO REFUSE REPENTANCE for OPPOSING TRUTH and serving SATAN and his BEASTLY POWERS, would be CUT OFF by one who OVERCOMES (Is. 42:6-7, Dan. 7:22, Ps. 110:5, Rev. 2:26-28)!
The world will then see PEACE under the rulership of the Kingdom of Heaven and His anointed rulers on earth, the House of Israel (being what Socrates referred to as PHILOSOPHER KINGS) ruling the TENT of SHEM into which JAPETH would come and Canaan would serve them, ACCORDING TO THE PLAN! Socrates spoke of THIS PLAN, as does the TORAH and PROPHETS from which he received it (from 'Phoenecian Traders' as he confesses in Book 3 in context of what he called the 'Gennaion Psuedos' translated into English as 'PIOUS FICTION' or 'NOBLE LIE' by which a State/Nation/World MUST logically be governed in order to THRIVE)!
With the TRUE 'Light of the World' from heaven having COME AS PROMISED [as even the much later Disciples of Socrates STILL HAD HOPE to come and 'SEE' according to the PROMISE FROM HEAVEN which Socrates TAUGHT ABOUT (Jn. 12:20-23)], it CAN NO LONGER be called a 'PIOUS MYTH' or NOBLE LIE only to be HOPED FOR or forced on the Masses to believe by a state USURPING Gods authority through DECEPTION, but is NOW established as the ABSOLUTE TRUTH of REALITY as DESIGNED! This is HOW we KNOW that WE HAVE A FAR 'MORE SURE WORD OF PROPHECY' than they had! God IS TRUE!
We have a CONFIRMATION of PROPHECY and you would do well to PAY ATTENTION TO IT like a LIGHT in a DARK PLACE until the DAWN COMES and the LIGHT BEARER rises in the EYE of your minds. 2 Pet. 1:19
Can there be a more powerful eyewitness testimony for the ETERNAL LIGHT of TRUTH than to be willing to suffer and even die for its reality to be SEEN and KNOWN by the MINDS of others who are yet ENSLAVED by the MATERIAL ILLUSION in order to FREE THEM and establish the KINGDOM OF HEAVEN ON EARTH as PLANNED BY GOD? What clearer reflection of ETERNAL TRUTH can be perceived than such a 'life testimony'? Many prophets of ancient Israel, Socrates, the disciples of Messiah, and numerous Martyrs (witnesses) down through the ages have SEEN (in their minds eye) the 'IMAGE' of the ETERNAL LIGHT of TRUTH, LOVE, and JUSTICE, and LIVED to their DEATHS being CONFORMED to that IMAGE OF TRUTH. King David also testifies of seeing his light being rejected like Joseph at the hands of Judah, to then sit at the right hand of power in Heaven until all his enemies would be made his footstool! He would be the ETERNAL CROWNED KING and MEDIATOR of the LAW for the KINGDOM OF HEAVEN on EARTH, according to a PLAN whereby ALL MEN are to be made IN HIS IMAGE as the FIRST BORN 'PERFECT IMAGE' of the INVISIBLE FATHER in FLESH according to the LAW which DESCRIBES HIM! I pray you begin to 'SEE' the PERFECT IMAGE of the INVISIBLE FATHER as His RIGHTFUL 'firstborn SON' and KING sitting at the RIGHT HAND of the INVISIBLE POWER of the FATHER 'High and Lifted Up' in your own heart and mind (where TRUE REALITY resides, INSIDE YOU), even as DAVID SAW HIM, too (Ps. 110).
And His PERCEPTION will be in the FEAR of YHWH; he will not judge by what His eyes see, Nor make a decision by what His ears hear. Isaiah 11:3
In that day there will be a root from Jesse who will stand as a sign to the people and will gather the nations to him, and his rest will be glorious. And it shall come to pass in that day, that YHWH shall set his hand again the second time to recover the remnant of his people which shall be left from Assyria, and from Egypt, and from Pathros, and from Cush, and from Elam, and from Shinar, and from Hamath, and from the islands of the sea. And he shall set up a flag for the nations, and shall assemble the outcasts of Israel, and gather together the dispersed of Judah from the four corners of the earth. Isaiah 11:10-12
